I'm gonna go check that no-adds-dates thread to see if anything's ever gone to #1 without a date. If there hasn't I don't want this to get one - I just want it to smash its way to the top.  |

Why is she singing "State of Grace" on Xfactor tonight and not this? They can't possibly be changing the single to that can they???

Maybe she's already planning to be lazy about SoG as a future (5th?) single and it'll get the Sparks Fly or even Should've Said No treatment - the official music video being just random tour clips or a live performance.

Why is she singing "State of Grace" on Xfactor tonight and not this? They can't possibly be changing the single to that can they??? ugh...don't tell me they are going to screw up the singles already... I will just assume IKYWT is going to be the second pop single and ignore the waste of promo opportunity of this xfactor performance ;) |

I'm amazed at its stability on Itunes. Top 20 still. It could potentially sell a million before it's announced as the next single (given it is of course). This has to be a rare occurence.

Hmm, how high does a typical hit song get a month after its adds date? I'm wondering what the chances are of this being the post-Xmas #1 with that specific date.

Pretty sure he means Hot 100, for the Christmas #1 part. Depends how quickly sales pick up.

I hope she SLAYS tomorrow and goes all out. The fact that this song, without being an official single, still remained in the top 20 (currently at #19) is a testament to what a big, hot smash this is. If she kills it tomorrow, this should easily soar back to the top 15 and possibly top 10. We're not ready. :'(

That was a very Britney performance and I can give no higher praise than that. It was awesome and legitimately the first time I've looked at her as a true pop icon, not just a country singer that crosses over from time to time. Future #1 smash for sure.
