I hope they release the video this year. I remember being upset when they waited until January to release Back To December...but Taylor has already seen the video so it's done. It's all about timing.

Is that the exact day the rush starts? I'm just afraid that if she releases a tad too late, then a song will have built up a big enough lead (presumably Bruno?) that she can't climb herself up to the top spot in time to dominate Xmas week.

I don't know exact dates but the rush is usually Christmas day and the first few days after Christmas when everyone is using their money and gift cards like crazy.

It is funny to have watched her growth. She had true country cross over hits, then hits that were clearly made to crossover and now this is a song made for Pop radio with no country in mind whatsoever. It even has dub step! I love it, for the record, just an interesting observation. My only problem is that some of the vocals just aren't where they should be. She has never been known for her vocals but she has never tried to be. The "ohhh, ohhhh" in the chorus just don't work for me, she can't pull it off. Maybe I should blame the producer though, more layering or something could have worked better.

I'm not really seeing the appeal that most see here. Some are calling this one of the best songs of the decade and that just seems silly. Taylor should have probably left the pseudo-dubstep off and the song would probably flow better. Does the radio version have it?

This needs to be the Christmas #1; that'll help it get a big enough sales need to go #1 without streaming, and then I won't have to worry anymore about her label making this miss #1 due to no streaming.
