As we might expect around a holiday, it's another slow (not to mention, behind schedule) week. There's a 3-way tie for biggest mover ("Ho Hey", "The A Team", "I Cry"), but it's only a 5 notch jump. The biggest dropper ("Numb") is only down 4.

Wow. Another slow week. Next week, there's gonna be much more movement. I'm sure of that. Gotye now has the longest running song so I'll give it a few weeks. And Ellie Goulding is definitely going to make it to 40 weeks.

The final (hit) single from an album usually does have good longevity simply because radio doesn't need to make room for a new song.

Though, with "Diamonds" out, "Where Have You Been" should finally be falling faster.

Just 2 weeks ago, they played "We R Who We R" as the Two For One. Couldn't they have moved the Two For One to a different hour if their options were that limited?

And, I'm sure we were all missing "Party Rock Anthem", right?

Or they could have used one of five other artists in the top 10 for that feature (they won't put it after #1 or probably #2, Pink was two-fered last week, and Alex Clare has no previous hits to play.) The "classic Rihanna" (Ryan's words) extra at the end would have worked.

And if they were determined to use Ke$ha, she does have several other hits they could have chosen.

Yes, the 241 situation is truly ridiculous this week. And with 10 extras, they should be able to play 2 breakouts esp. being behind. Congratulations to Rihanna for another top 10 song. Ryan said that this is her 23rd top 10, more than anyone else this century.

Another station here, Magic 102.7 has started playing AT 40(The 70's) here from 10AM till 1PM
on Sundays. They manage to squeeze in the whole top 40. So now from 10 to 11, it is Casey
Kasem vs. Ryan Seacrest, both doing American Top 40.
