The album definitely has a distinct, intentional soundscape. They achieved what they were going for. The production is great and the vocal production is excellent. I do wish a few more "big" vocal moments were sprinkled throughout, but I get that it may not have fit the mood. I also will say that I still don't think this is the album of her dreams (completely), but it's definitely a step in the right direction. Much more so than Mad Love. As I said back when the album was released, I think we'll be getting "that" album when she's in her 30s.
My favorites are "So Bad," "Small Things," "Lonely Hearts" and "Don't Talk Me Down."

This definitely isn't a comeback album, but it's solid. I like the back half more than the front. My favorites are "Small Things," "Lonely Hearts," "Think About You," and "Don't Talk Me Down".

Mad Love is so much better than this (I love pop , don’t @ me)

Mad Love. is literally one of my all time favorite albums at this point. I wasn't expecting this to beat it, especially with what we've heard from over the last few months. But I do still thoroughly enjoy her output thus far. I don't plan on seeking out the leak and will wait until the first to hear the album in full, but I still have high hopes I will like it a lot even after reading the reactions here.

She’s wanted to be a full-blown R&B singer from day one so I feel like, at this point, she has no real mainstream aspirations and just wants to make the music that’s creatively satisfying to her which is fair. I’ll settle for a solid album even if she doesn’t top all of the charts with it.

"Comeback" and "Don't Talk Me Down" are my s**t wow!
"So Bad" is also her best album opener since "This Time."

I think Small Things is my favorite on the album. Other highlights for me were So Bad, Lonely Hearts and Man. It’s a very vibey album.

Yeah, this is a fantastic album. I was a little worried that it would be far too slow, but her best songs are always midtempos and there are a lot of great ones here.
My ranking upon the first couple listens:
1. Think About You (just... wow) 2. Gold 3. Lonely Hearts 4. So Bad 5. Pedialyte 6. Small Things 7. Man 8. Don’t Talk Me Down 9. Comeback
There isn’t a bad song on the album though. You can definitely tell it was crafted a specific way intentionally.
I hope it manages to chart decently. It deserves to be heard!

So, I’ve listened to “good to know” a few times and I’m back with my favs and such...
Loves:
Think About You Small Things Man
Likes:
So Bad Gold Lonely Hearts
Not a fan:
Pedialyte
I’m indifferent about the rest. It’s not a favourite album of mine, but a nice listen. This definitely feels like Jojo and the album she wanted to make. I’ll keep my favs and ditch the rest, probably.

Lonely Hearts is still my fav but I'll continue to listen to form more of an opinion on the rest. I do quite enjoy So Bad, Pedialyte, Small Things, and Gold though so far.

I was really excited to hear this today. I ordered from Amazon and originally, it said it was going to come Monday but then I got the notification that it shipped and arrived today. Lo and behold, at 3:56 PM, I got a notification that it was delivered. Opened my door and...nothing. Checked the package locker and the cluster of packages on the ground outside it...NOTHING. I ordered other stuff too but I was most excited for JoJo. I will probably just play my free Amazon mp3 version tonight anyway but wtf. This day was already so shitty and I was really looking forward to getting my CD.

"Bad Habits" and "Proud" are on her YouTube page after only initially being included on the physical version of the album. She said they will be on streaming soon. I really don't get what's going on with all these song changes and switches throughout this album cycle...it's very strange to me.
On another note, she has confirmed that she has another release coming out this year.

Anyone confirm that the physical is missing Comeback completely (the solo version)? That is what Amazon shows on their site. That would only mean 8 full songs. Why get the physical to be MISSING songs? Ugh.

This album is amazing. Finally she released an album on par with her talent. And I'll add "Think About You" is a fucking BOP!
