The Billboard charts will be delayed this week and next:
The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on the morning of Dec. 27. For the next two weeks, because of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, the weekly top 10 recap story that normally posts on Wednesday morning will instead arrive on Thursday.
Additionally, the charts on billboard.com and billboard.biz will refresh around 6 p.m. eastern on Dec. 27 and Jan. 3, instead of in the morning.

AIWFCIY's total is .479m higher than last year's peak; tough to say what role the recalibrated audience numbers played in it. But, nonetheless, we'll see a nice move on Hot 100 Airplay- it's up 16.8m in Mediabase numbers from a week ago.
Spears' holiday track really doesn't get much airplay, does it? Probably because of the lack of play outside of pop. The two A Very Special Christmas'] tracks do alright. In general, "Santa Baby" gets the most play at pop from that record. last year, for the seven days through Christmas Day, it was No. 21 on Pop Golds (it had been top in prior years), while U2's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) was 27. John Mellencamp's "I Saw Mommy..." was 36.

Is "I Will Wait" charting on Country Songs? Not only is it more country than "We Are Never..." but I think it's getting a small amount of country airplay.
"AIWFCIY" could go top 20 this next chart.

"Try" definitely has a lot of life in it, and country goes like full-on Christmas over the Christmas weekend, so once it's over and the new year begins, Carrie will probably skyrocket.

Unless her sales are high enough to surpass Bruno's combined airplay and streaming gap, Taylor won't be #1. The airplay gap isn't too big now. It only helps that Bruno is starting to lose while Taylor is still gaining as if there is no Holiday Freeze at all. The streaming gap is huge though, since Bruno is #1 and Taylor's not available for streaming at all.

wait if pour it up has that much airplay does it mean it's the next single? Urban is randomly picking it up for some reason. Nothing has been confirmed, though.

So is Rhythmic. It's top 50 on both and gaining pretty well. They would be dumb not to make it a single now.

Bruno made it to 195m AI. Who will be the next act to fall short?

^^ Hey may not have peaked - lots of songs got negative AI in the past few days, probably due to lots of Christmas songs being spun.

True, but I don't see him gaining enough to surpass 200m AI after the Xmas songs.

^^ Hey may not have peaked - lots of songs got negative AI in the past few days, probably due to lots of Christmas songs being spun. He's peaked. Next will come the year-end countdowns, and he won't make a bunch of them. (Well, he will with "It Will Rain," but not with "Locked Out of Heaven.") That'll drop him a lot too. Then when the January Meltdown finally comes around, he most likely won't gain enough back to re-peak or out-peak himself. He was already close to peaking on pop anyway, so he's done there for sure. Hot AC and AC is where he might see some gains in January.

I think I recall some songs skyrocketing in airplay again after the holidays/year-end countdowns last time. Bruno may or may not be one who benefits from that. Hard to tell, as we don't know if he was at the end of his peak or still in the middle of it. I think Try, Ho Hey, Beauty and a Beat, and IKYWT are the songs most likely to see huge boosts (and B&AB and IKYWT aren't even seeing losses now, so their boosts in particular could be even larger).
Another one I'm interested in watching is Kelly and CMB; the song wasn't making amazing gains, but it was steadily climbing up until a few days ago. So I wonder if this week and next will end up killing its momentum or if she will get it back, which means the song won't really die off until February.

weird question: is it possible for a song to be in the top 10 in sales and airplay in the same week, but not be in the top 10 on the Hot 100 that week?
