can someone validate that digital songs list? There's no way Beyonce has sold 30 million digital singles.

can someone validate that digital songs list? There's no way Beyonce has sold 30 million digital singles. Why not? All of her singles sans the Dangerously In Love era were present in the digital age. That would include "Irreplaceable," "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," "Halo," "If I Were a Boy," "Check on It," etc. in here total. Plus, I know "Crazy in Love" has sold quite a lot for being so old.

That's my point. You've just listed all her big songs and that's still only half the 30 million singles she supposedly sold. Where's the other half? Aside from half a dozen digital age hits, most of her singles have flopped and I don't suppose the likes of Video Phone, Ego or Run the World have been huge digital sellers.

Work It Out - flop, probably is barely over 100k Crazy in Love - 1.6 mill Fighting Temptation - IDEK what this is Baby Boy - probably near a million Me, Myself, and I - probably near 500k Naughty Girl - probably near 500k Check On It - this has got to be nearing 3 mill Deja Vu - around 1 million, I'd suspect Ring the Alarm - probably nearing 750k Irreplaceable - 3.2 million Listen - probably around 500k Beautiful Liar - probably around 1.5 million, maybe near 2 Get Me Bodied - eh... 250k? Green Light - 100k? Idk. If I Were a Boy - 2.9 million Single Ladies - 5.1 million Diva - this has got to be over a million Halo - 3.2 million Ego - probably near 750k Sweet Dreams - 2 mill, maybe? Broken-Hearted Girl - around 200k? Video Flop - IDK, maybe around 500k? Run the World - ??? 500k? Best Thing I Never Had - got to be getting close to 2 mill, maybe closer to 1.5 mill Countdown - 500k-750k, maybe? Love on Top - 750k? 1 mill? End of Time - no idea Combine those numbers together, even at the lower end for the ones I gave ranges for, and that's 32.9 million. I know I'm probably even overestimating a few like "Diva," "Listen," and "Check on It," but not too much. So around 30 million sounds correct to me. Edit: Work It Out, not Work It Up.

Aside from half a dozen digital age hits, most of her singles have flopped and I don't suppose the likes of Video Phone, Ego or Run the World have been huge digital sellers. 15 million from those five 3 million from her feature on "Telephone" And then going by certifications on Wikipedia (not a great system, but it works); 0.5 million for "Love On Top" 0.5 million for "Countdown" 1 million for "Best Thing I Never Had" 0.5 million for "Run The World (Girls)" 1 million for "Sweet Dreams" 0.5 million for "Diva" 1 million for "Beautiful Liar" 0.5 million for "Ring The Alarm" 0.5 million for "Déjà Vu" That makes 24 million. Add a few more million for the above list (as platinum could be anywhere between 1 and 2 million, not just 1 million, and so on), another million or two for catalogue sales of earlier hits such as "Baby Boy" and "Naughty Girl", and another million or two for loose odds and ends (album tracks, uncertified singles, etc.) - and you've got 30 million.

As of November 2012, Rihanna had:
10 singles over 500k, but less than 1 million 10 singles over 1 million, but less than 2 million 8 singles over 2 million, but less than 3 million 4 singles over 3 million, but less than 4 million 4 singles over 4 million, but less than 5 million 1 single over 5 million, but less than 6 million
If we assume each song sells the lowest amount possible in each bracket, which we know is not true, it brings us to a total of 64 million. This is information gathered by only the last posted Soundscan figures. Something is not right with the aforementioned numbers if they're supposed to include both solo and features.

What is it minus features?

Appears no features, then. Which is odd considering every other record includes features unless explicitly stated it doesn't.
ETA: where'd your post go. ;_;

So for Rihanna, as an example, Drunk on Love counts, Love the Way You Lie doesn't.

At this rate Scream and Shout will be out of the Top 10 next week. At this rate S&S will drop to #4 or #5 next week. It has 95 M AI on BDS & 1,08 million streaming. Unless airplay start declining.

Otherwise, it seems to me someone just added sales from their recent singles.
