Yeah, I felt terrible for her. She was trying to hit those notes so hard, and she looked stressed and feeling pressure. She was so embarressed afterwards, but she laughed it off. Cute to see her holding Monroe and Michelle holding Moroccan while chatting it up with the President, though.

You can tell she was out of breath since the beginning (that's why she couldn't hold the falsetto), but it wasn't that awful. Plus, she looks stunning and the audience went crazy for her.

Her voice sounded great right after she had kids at that NYC concert in Spring '12 and went downhill from there. It's ultimately the nodules, but let's not pretend like her blood isn't 90% champagne (ETA: obviously an exaggeration). I agree that she should just get the surgery already. |

Exactly at this point it doesn't matter. She needs every bit she can get. Between alcohol and nodules, I am surprised her voice has lasted this long. Her live performances have been very hit or miss with a lot more misses lately. I know it comes with risks the surgery, but she should just take them.

I'm sure her makeup crew told her it was legendary. TBF, Liron is more honest than them, but I doubt she'd broach the subject. It's a sensitive one. I just feel bad for her. She has to know it's a struggle, but she's stubborn. Her vocal doctor is the guy that ruined Julie Andrews' voice.

Am I the only one who didn't think the performance was that bad? I thought she sounded great in the beginning, and though she hit a bad note toward the end and was out of breath, I didn't think it was an embarrassment. The "#Beautiful" performance at GMA sounded worse to me.
