Firework would have only had a 5-week gap if it had been #1 the week of Born This Way's debut.

So basically if there was no Harlem Shake, Thrift Shop would have had a 10 week reign/ I know that I'm too dramatic, but this is a tragedy. If they really needed to put Youtube data in, why did they have to do that on Grammy week? A quite few song got a big digital boost, but decreased thanks to that. And I would be okay (but still sad) with "Harlem Shake" being #1 for like one or two weeks at most, but five is ridiculous. Still hoping for Billboard changes its mind and change the weight of those 30 second clips. I know that the last few weekly Hot 100 threads were filled with exactly the same posts, but every time I see it, I'm mad.

I don't have all of the exact airplay/sales/streaming figures, but here's where "Mirrors" charted on the Hot 100 and the component charts this past week: Hot 100 = No. 13Hot 100 Airplay = X Hot Digital Songs = X On-Demand Songs = No. 5Streaming Songs = No. 15 (2.4 million streams) YouTube = No. 4

Too bad P-squared beat Kelly. I think she deserves to have the best-selling Idol single. Since U Been Gone could have easily sold 5 million or more if digital downloads were as common back then as they are now.

Wow, Darius Rucker is one more Top 40 hit away from tying his record with Hootie and The Blowfish.

Best selling, but Kelly safely has the best performing single locked down for the time being.

Streaming in general has way too much hold on the charts now. I can't believe a song that's not on the airplay charts or digital charts still winds up in the Top 15.

How did Mirrors not chart on Hot Digital Songs? Wasn't it top 10 on iTunes all week? Or at least top 20...
