Dave Audé @daveaude 3 May Who wants to hear new remixes for @selenagomez and @ciara?
The Ciara mix just premiered, so we should be getting this one soon too. I have yet to be disappointed in a Dave Audé remix of a Selena Gomez song, so I'm excited. I wonder who else will be on the mix? Some of the other people who've remixed her in the past like Ralphi Rosario, Tony Moran, or The Alais would be nice!

At 80 BPM with a swing rhythm, this one's gonna be somewhat difficult/awkward- I'm curious to see how the remixers will handle it! I've heard one, won't say whose yet- it took a long time but he's definitely succeeded and made it work! SO it IS possible!

So Jump Smokers are doing a "trap" remix. It sounds pretty dope, but I hope the chorus is cleaned up a bit.

would love to see remixes come out for this!!! Ultimix has one with the 80bpm beat, sounds great but we need something uptempo. "waits patiently"

Looking SO forward to these, especially the Dave Audé one. His remixes of "Who Says" & "Naturally" were almost better than the originals (...the "Who Says" one definitely was).

I don't recall ever hearing an Audé mix of something that originally had a swing beat, so his is definitely going to be interesting for me. I just want to know who else we're getting. After the spectacular package Demi was serviced, I'm expecting Selena (who actually has the dance market by the balls) to get a great one as well.

The Dave Aude mix of Sarah McLachlan's "Loving You is Easy" comes to mind. It was one of his downtempo mixes though...

Sarah McLachman is my favorite of them by far, but some other ones to check out:
Matt Goss "We're Over" Ashley Tisdale "It's Alright, It's OK" Richard Vission & Static Revenger Starring Luciana "I Like That" the TRIP mixes
Sarah isn't downtempo btw, it's 128 BPM....

Seems like a lot of people opted to slow down the vocals, which given the original 80 bpm was expected.
Cahill was boring, but I never like them. 2/5 Cosmic Dawn works in other parts, others not, but they did well by taking out the chanting. Nice trance-y throwback. 4/5 DJ Laszlo sounds like Party Rock Anthem for a half second. The vocals kind of clash with the production-- too messy. There are some cool effects here and there though! 2/5 Dj M3 sounds like a slightly more dated version of DJ Laszlo and they didn't de-swing it all the way. Probably the worst. 1/5 Fred Falke does his best Kleerup impression, but the vocals are a bit too loud for the ambient production. It has a nice throwback feel though. 3/5 Jump Smokers is easily the most fun, and probably my favorite. Thuglena is dope af. The missing bridge is disappointing, but I didn't mind? 5/5 I still don't know how Liam Keegan started getting hired by major labels. It's like half-assed trance, but it doesn't work at all. 1/5 Robert DeLong chopped and screwed this to all hell and turned this into a pretty interesting piece of work. Not for everyone, but I REALLY like it. 4/5
It's a big package, but it's a little all over the place. The song doesn't really work well with the clubs, but it has some nice reworks in the bunch. If anyone is spinning this in a set, it better be the Cosmic Dawn remix.

There's so many of them! Jump Smokers definitely did the best job and Fred Falke's is my second fave but there are a few others that are pretty decent as well. Oh, and what a truly flawless avatar @xoxo!

I like the Cosmic Dawn, Cahill, and Fred Falke mixes, in that order. The slowed down vocals on the Cosmic Dawn one sound surprisingly good. On the others they sound like a hot mess.

Haven't listened to all of them yet, but so far Cosmic Dawn is easily my favorite. Still holding out for that Dave Aude mix, though!
Edit-I haven't liked anything from Jump Smokers in a good while, but their mix here is fantastic.

Cosmic edited the vocal to fit a non-swingy beat and it makes a big difference, some of the others didn't bother and that r-e-e-e-e-e-dy part sounds awkward! Great package, lots of great dance mixes (Cosmic Dawn, Cahill) and some other interesting ones (Jump Smokers, Falke, Robert) I gotta echo the guy above (I can never keep track of this forum where everyone's name changes daily!) who said the vocal is too loud on Fred's mix, I noticed it too, but I like the mix enough to not mind :)

Audé Club Mix is out, supposedly. If this is his, it's a little different for him. It's my favorite though!

The Jump Smokers downtempo take is scorching. (Aude's take also sounds amazing) Although the tempo will make it a challenge to work with. Should be interesting. As far as the others, I'd go with Cosmic Dawn and DJ M3's takes (pretty decent). Liam Keegan's is underwhelming considering what he normally does. For the most part though, these mixes fade from memory almost instantly. A shame because the song itself is a total jam, but I guess the rhythm and tempo are issues (as pointed out by some of you above). I'm thinking maybe a couple of interesting dubs could happen with the right remixer.

Hopefully they don't mess up this iTunes EP like they messed up the "Heart Attack" EP they released this week. That song had many remixes, but the EP only had three mixes on it and they left off the best mixes.

The EP for "Heart Attack" I saw had 6 tracks, the 5 full length mixes plus for whatever reason, the White Sea Acapella.
