Shania is all over the inside of "Country Weekly" again. The January 3rd, 2005 issue with Keith Urban on the cover has Shania stuff all throughout the issue. The issue has 14 Shania photos in it. There are photos from her Canada appearances and photos from the CMA awards and BMI awards (with Loretta Lynn). Plus, there are 4 articles on Shania in there. lounge.teamshania.com/showthread.php?t=5644

With D! going to radio next week, I'm hopin sales will go up again. Sales didn't top 70k, but I think "Don't!"(D!) will make this album have staying power.

A new quote from Shania. SHANIA TWAIN A SUPERSTAR WHO DOESN'T COMPETE Shania Twain says she does not look at success in music as a competition. She started out with Toby Keith, a very competitive guy, but says she's the complete opposite. "He (Toby) says, 'Don't you just want to be a winner?' And I said, 'No.. I really don't care.' I make music and that's what I do. And, of course, I want it to be successful, but I'm not looking at the scale and going, 'Who's beating me or whatever.' So there's just different types.... "I, definitely, I'm in my own race. I don't have that nature. It just breeds jealously because then you're a sore loser. And how can you lose in music anyway? It's all a matter of opinion. There's no losing or winning. You put out your music and that's what your music is." "Success, to me anyway, if you can feed yourself, if you can make a living at what you do, you're successful in life. Maybe that's because I come from a poor background." www.countrystars.com/news/haislop/n-update.html
