OMG, guys! Digital sales!!! 37k - A$AP Rocky - Work (14k - #135) I doubt anybody cares but I think this is supposed to be A$AP Ferg. There's an A$AP Ferg and an A$AP Rocky? Are they really two separate people or just the same guy in two personas? It was listed as "A$AP FERG WORK" in the chart. I had no clue if it was supposed to be A$AP Rocky with a song called "Ferg Work," as like some ode to Fergie, or what was going on. I finally just decided it was a typo. I guess not then.

^ Two separate people. They both go by A$AP as a nod to the Hip Hop collective "A$AP Mob," of which they are both members.

^That's usually up to radio. I don't know if it's nearing its peak- it probably will pick up some into next week. But it's probably not going to reach stratospheric numbers (not that most expected it to, anyways). "Treasure" is taking off well enough- may be my favorite Bruno Mars track.

Wow Lumineers back up to 9... I think the fact that its running time is less than 3 minutes benefits the song. It's an easy filler and it's light and enjoyable, therefore CHR is less inclined to reduce its rotation aggressively like other pop songs that plummet once they hit their peak.

It's also AC #1 song for the time being. That's 25 million AI from AC alone, definitely a big boost for it.

Terrible sales for "Alive" pop radio tried to force this song to be a hit. It did NOTHING on streaming as well. I like the song but I'm disgusted by its run on CHR lol.
Now it's on the free fall, last week 9-14, this week 14-19, out of the top 20 next week.

For all the reaction to Krewella's bizarre CHR performance, I guess I'm one of the few people who actually LOVED this song!!! I always pump it up when I hear it on the radio or on my ipod. But yeah, for a song that wasn't embraced much by sales, I'm still surprised how much CHR tried to push this song. It's not like it was Rihanna's zillionth single... this is a group with no history and their first single, and EDM one at that, and for some bizarre reason they got a push (by the label or by CHR outlets?) that most other ordinary singles don't. I have no idea what happened there! But most EDM/dance-pop singles plummet after they peak on CHR, moreso than regular pop hits. Look at Sweet Nothing, Feel This Moment, Don't You Worry Child, etc... they REALLY plummeted after they peaked. They have a higher burn rate than every other format, no matter how big a hit they were.

I don't know where to post this, but because it's relevant to this week's chart I guess this is the perfect place.

It's clear that Daft Punk killed this week's chart with multiple album tracks charting high. And look, if you add the streams of the album version of "Get Lucky" to the Radio edit, it's by far the most streamed song.
1. "Get Lucky" - 2,331,989 plays 2. "Can't Hold Us" - 1,566,670 plays 3. "Radioactive" - 1,363,924 plays
I'm sure "Get Lucky" will be #1 on the On Demand Streaning component like "Suit & Tie" was in the release week of The 20/20 Experience and it'll potentially shot up to the Hot 100 top 5.

"I Love It's" gains look to be getting bigger than when it was on its way up. One-hit wonder or will they have another hit...
Everybody needs to prepare for "Treasure" to sail on by em.

Regadless of their past chart performances, its not surprising considering the hype the song had from the get-go, radio play, plus iTunes performance. From that stand point I don't see how it's surprising. But I also see how it is with your point.

It's crazy! :o "Get Lucky" is gonna be a massive hit! A disco flavored smash in 2013, wow... and Pharrell will have two big hits at the same time. was his last hit "Frontin'"? waaay back in 2003, that song was a jam. He was featured on Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful" another jam.

Niles Rodgers on a current top 10 hit is more surprising to me!

He was featured on Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful" another jam. His last big hit with him as the main artist was "Frontin'," but I'd say "Can I Have It Like That" was pretty notable too despite it's measly #49 peak on the Hot 100. His last big hit as a feature was "Money Maker" with Ludacris.
