Added. I'd say yes, it does count. Since Rick Dees was using R&R and it aired a week behind the published date, it's close enough. I did the same with Nancy Wilson in 1994 with "Will You Be There In The Morning."

On a recent 1989 show, Rick Dees was recapping the BBC Top 5 and that's when he mentioned Andy Pickles :)
