This is nice. Not as good as their other 2 collabs, at least so far, but still enjoyable.

What I don't understand is why she keeps refusing to appear in the videos for these songs she records with him because they "aren't her kind of music" or something... but then she keeps going back in the studio to record with him.

I think it's odd too. If she is embarrassed or ashamed of this work that she is doing with David, it's not right that she is earning the royalties and money from it. On the flipside, most of David's videos, especially recently haven't had the song lip synced in a traditional way so that would go with that. And it would be really messed up to let some other model to lip Sia's vocals in the videos kind of like the whole mess with Milli Vanilli, the Black Box/Martha Wash/Loleatta Holloway/Katrine Quinol saga, and of course, those 90s Italian Eurodance acts like Corona, JK, Playhitty who used models in their videos instead of the actual studio vocalists. |
