Is there still a spell check on this version of the board? I've tried to find it, but maybe I'm missing it. If not, would it be possible to add it back in?

Great, thanks for doing that. Was there ever spell check? I guess it was before my time? I think it was still there up until the board upgrade a few weeks ago.

Hmm, I don't remember ever seeing that... It was there, but it was pretty useless since most updated OS systems and browsers come with an automatic spellcheck. It didn't work very well either.

Au$tin i noticed that in quick reply the 'create post' button is on the left and the 'spell check' button is on the right, but then in the main reply the buttons are switched switched, which is annoyingly inconsistent to me. in quick reply it's not an issue but in main reply i always catch myself about to click spell check. but i am assuming it is b/c the post reply button is in a fixed position and can't be moved. i wasn't aware of how sucky it was before b/c i relied on my browser's spell check, and unless someone tells me otherwise i likely won't find out if this one sucks either even so, i figure not everyone has (or uses) a browser spell check, so it's useful for enough people to warrant the plugin.

Anyway, I like that the Spell Check is there, though. At home, I won't use it as Chrome has its own built in spell checker, but at work, where I'm forced to use Internet Explorer, it will come in handy. ETA: I almost clicked on spell check when I posted this... smh

This seems to have disappeared again. Any chance we can get it back?

This seems to have disappeared again. Any chance we can get it back? It was removed when the board was running very slow and was becoming laggy. I don't know if it did anything or not with the speed.

Oh, I forgot about seeing this thread the other day. I removed it back when we were having loading issues, yes, and was hoping no one would miss it, haha. So I have a question: is it more useful or necessary than your browser's built-in spell check (since I think all modern browsers have that now)?

For whatever reason my browser doesn't have one, but it's not worth having if it makes things slow.
