"Somehow You Do" is great! Nothing groundbreaking or amazing by any means, but it is yet another solid song to add to the Reba catalog. The video is simplistic, but I love the desert scenery and the way it was shot using a lot of drone footage was indeed a nice touch as bboat11 highlighted above. She still looks incredible! Very hungry for her next studio project.

We are in the middle of Cassadee RD, and now, new song by Cassadee is announced to be coming up in a week! Pretty sure I'm not the only one who misses her on the radio. http://instagr.am/p/COLHSpVrBEL

How is this news worthy..... How is it not? The Morgan saga has been the biggest story in country music in 2021 and to have the entertainer of the year hanging out with him on a fishing trip is a pretty big deal. Eric obviously cares and wants to help him.

Eric obviously cares and wants to help him. I think it does more damage to attack people for who they hang out with in most cases because how can anyone expect him to grow as a person if he isn't given the opportunity. The difference however is the industry and radio accepting him back so they can make more money off of him is problematic due to everything that has gone on with him. Both are very different situations and should be viewed as such.

Good to see the interaction from the two, as right now I would say Eric is one of the more influential male artists and Wallen has stated numerous times how much of an inspiration he is to him.

I would be shocked if he did because of their image, but my point is if it is actually based on performance, as they claim (unless I misunderstood) he will win album category. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a statement where he removes himself from the nominations.

BBMAs are based on chart success, numerical data, and general commercial performance; not critical acclaim. From a purely data-driven standpoint, he stands a great chance of winning. Seeing, though, that he won't even be attending the show, per the show's producers themselves, I do wonder when/how they'll handle the very strong likelihood that he'll win something(/many awards). Will they just opt to keep his awards off-air?
Will be interesting to see, for sure.

Will they just opt to keep his awards off-air? Will be interesting to see, for sure. Those would be some major categories to exclude from their broadcast if they choose to go that route. I think the statement they put out about it is basically their way of saying we don't want to give him an award, but it's based on performance so we're not responsible for him getting an award. Potentially, he could win every single one of the country categories he's nominated in. Honestly, Luke Combs is the only one I see beating him in the male or artist categories and I would think their years were fairly similar, with MW maybe having the edge with the Dangerous album. I could be wrong, but Album doesn't even seem close to me if we just base it off performance. I think Gabby would probably win song with the crossover success from "I Hope", but I think these nominees are honestly better than what the ACM's were in terms of song. I like that "Got What I Got" and "One of Them Girls" are finally getting some recognition. Top Country Artist Gabby Barrett Kane Brown Luke Combs Chris Stapleton Morgan Wallen Top Country Male Artist Luke Combs Chris Stapleton Morgan Wallen Top Country Album Gabby Barrett, Goldmine Sam Hunt, Southside Chris Stapleton, Starting Over Carrie Underwood, My Gift Morgan Wallen, Dangerous: The Double Album Top Country Song Jason Aldean, “Got What I Got” Gabby Barrett, “I Hope” Lee Brice, “One of Them Girls” Morgan Wallen, “Chasin’ You” Morgan Wallen, “More Than My Hometown”

Ew "Got What I Got" for Top Country Song...? I know it won't win, but still at the fact that it got nominated over other hits.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=kq2kZTd9bgYNot sure if it’s already been mentioned anywhere, but “Where Her Heart Has Always Been” by Alan Jackson is such a beautiful song. Really looking forward to that whole album.

Walker County on Kelly today. This was called their debut single so maybe we will start seeing their push to radio soon.

I love that Kelly Clarkson gave Walker County a platform to perform live on TV before they've even hit radio. What a huge 'get' for these girls! Hopefully the plan is indeed to push "Bits & Pieces" as a single for airplay because I have been loving these girls since they debuted with "The Hamptons" and while nothing they've released has come close to the obsession I have for "Hamptons," B&P is easily their second-best offering yet and it sounds like something radio could get behind. At any rate, I'd love to see them get some traction on the charts and get more music out there, because I know I'd love an album from them someday.

Dierks Bentley taking Parker McCollum and Riley Green on tour this summer. Glad to see concerts making a comeback! Sad that the nearest one to me is 6 hours away. http://instagram.com/p/COkprnDBFnp

Yet another tour not coming to Minneapolis. We're getting massively ignored by just about everyone, which is disappointing since shows always sell well here. I have no interest in Kane Brown at all and of course he's coming.

It's interesting that you mention this because I commented to a friend that Dierks is going to some seldom-visited areas - Arkansas, Idaho, Salt Lake - but I don't think I've really paid attention to tours going to Minneapolis! Hope you get some good ones soon.

Hope you get some good ones soon. Not to make it political, but do you think all of the unrest there this past year is affecting concert tours making that a date? I'm sure that's a possibility but I would think they'd play in St Paul then. And that is the better of the two arenas anyways. Also realized that the festivals in the 200 mile radius are taking almost all the same acts that were scheduled last year, and I can't do a weekend in 100 degree fields with overpriced food. $10 hot dogs and beer just doesn't budget well. Plus camping is pushing the same price as tickets per day. So a $90 ticket is really close to $200. But it's more that I can't see a lot of sun because of being diabetic. One thing i did forget was that George Strait is playing his only show anywhere here, although it is a rescheduled (twice actually) show. And Stapleton is playing that show so i get why he wouldn't schedule his tour here. An interesting development for the festival an hour west of here is that Darius Rucker had to pull out due to it being rescheduled again, only to find out it was because he has another show booked at the casino south of here, which is much closer so I might go to that. Although not sure he's worth $150 for an hour or so show.
