So do we consider Beautiful a flop? Hit #15, and is going to spend way less than 20 weeks on the chart. Even tho I think it's a great song it didn't chart very well. Zero longevity

It depends on your expectations. For me, this did better than I would have thought

"#Beautiful" fared better than "Feedback," though- that single spent just two weeks inside the top 40 (vs. 11 for "#Beautiful"). And it also fared a lot better on Hot 100 Airplay (No. 17 vs. No. 64). People shouldn't have that high in the way of expectations for the next single. Another top 20 would be a decent showing following this one. But, if not, top 40 would be fine, too.

Mariah is obviously a bit bigger star but could be in the same phase of her career than Janet was in 2008. I believe that the appearance by Miguel helped #Beautiful a lot in airplay.

Though I hate this song, I hope 'Love Somebody' goes Top 10 on the Hot 100. It'll be their 4th from this album, 5th straight Top 10 & 8th overall.

It's his highest peaking airplay hit and about to be his best selling single too. You could just as easily say she helped him get his biggest hit.

I actually think Miguel hurt the track. No one really knows him, and there's something about him that I can't connect with, not sure why or what that is. plus the video was stupid. I mean, I think Mariah is still smokin hot, but she ain't 25 anymore.

That's Miguel's best showing at pop, but, yeah, in overall airplay, "Adorn" fared better. And it's enjoying amazing longevity at Urban AC.
