This is pretty good and I'm digging her "new" sound, but I feel like it'll be one of those songs that has a fast burn rate. Her vocals are a little grating at parts too.

Pleasant; I especially like the ending... goes a bit quiet, then builds again. The song needs it.

Dont you guys think it was disrespectful of Gaga to tweet out that it leaked, surely Katy would want few people knowing about the leak, Gaga will be loving this, i hope hers leaks.

I doubt it would've mattered either way if GaGa said anything or not. In the current digital age the leak would've become public knowledge quickly even without GaGa's help.

While the song is not a complete departure of sound for her, it's definitely a progression of the Teenage Dream sound. I don't think it would have fit with the original album but it definitely follows the path of the re-release singles which was expected and totally a pleasant non-surprise.

The spincrease list on AllAccess says 636 for its first day, so it can't be too far off. Maybe it'll be top 50 in the final update?

For Drake, at No. 50, the chart has his single at 605 spins, while the Spin Increase list has it as 707. The differences will vary from track to track, though, so who knows.

I Love this song.
The lyrics are inspiring, even tho its not her best.
The melody is catchy.
Her vocal is great.
I love how she doesn't try to sound 'electronic'.

I hate to sound like the typical person who says "urgh! I hate this song so much, but it's stuck in my head!" I don't hate the song, but I don't necessarily like it, either. Color me disappointed. |

So I went to listen to this on Youtube and thought it was incredibly boring but then I read a comment that it wasn't the real version. The actual song is actually pretty infectious, particularly the chorus. So I think it's decent as far as Katy Perry songs go.
