Flop.
It's kind of sad that the powers have granted him the chance to be relevant again (that so many other fallen pop stars can only dream of) and he continues to blow it.
ETA: That said this is much better than "Turn Up The Night."

Flop. It's kind of sad that the powers have granted him the chance to be relevant again (that so many other fallen pop stars can only dream of) and he continues to blow it. ETA: That said this is much better than "Turn Up The Night." People were saying the same thing about 'I Like It' and look how that turned out. Also I don't get the whole "granted him the chance to be relevant again" it's not like it was a random act of charity. Enrique fought hard to get a very reluctant Interscope to use the tracks he worked on with Redone eventualy they relented and chose 'Takin' Back My Love' as the least objectionable to release soley in Europe were it became a hit giving him an inkling he was on the right track. He went to a new label who saw the potential in those tracks and went with it. As far as I can see they promoted him like most other artist, he didn't seem to get any special treatment or plum promo spots until after the song had become a significant chart hit. As hard is it is for some people here to believe people liked 'I Like It' and 'Tonight' hence why radio played it and people bought it coupled with some of the good will from the mini revival from his previous era made him a hit. Of course that wasn't a free pass to having US hits forevermore. Even at his peak he was someone who relied on a lot of in-person promo which he hasn't done so far this era but it says a lot about how he turned his career around that he hasn't done much to push his current single and yet radio is at least open to playing it and it had decent sales regardless of how people feel about his comeback material.
