The album does get better as you listen to it, but Georgia Rain is the hook, line, and sinker song. If you don't like it, well you may never pick the album up again..

I would think after being gone so long she would have a comeback single that is not a boring stinker

Why is Mississippi Girl doing so much better than Georgia Rain?: Here's some speculation for the sake of conversation -
1. Faith Hill is hotter and unfortunately that plays into an artist's mainstream popularity (I think Trisha's voice kills Faith's) :) 2. MS is more uptempo than GR - even though GR is somewhat of a moving song (I know that's debatable but I love it) it's more fun to sing along with MG. 3. Faith is singing about herself (yeah right she hasn't changed her ways......bet she wasn't wearing Versace back in Mississippi) and because people are obsessed with her celebrity....they're interested in hearing about her reality. We all know Trisha is in love with Garth so her lamenatation of lost love is total fiction and we don't believe her.
Hmmm...that's all I can think of right now. GO TRISHA!!!
So what do you all think of "Try Me"? I like that little ditty. :)

Uptempo songs in the summer are a perfect match, but an extraordinary ballad, such as Trace Adkins's wonderful "Arlington' are always welcome.
I don't know how much higher Ms. Hill's song will go, but Ms. Yearwood is STILL doing rather nicely, don't you think?

I think it is at #24 this week. If I remember, "I Would Have Loved You Anyway" peaked at #4 after 6 months or something. It took *forever* to climb. This one seems to be moving more quickly upward... can anyone verify?
