DD is s**t. Take that trash elsewhere. Now back to the iconic slaying of "Underneath The Tree". you cant just bash an artist/album on here and call them SHIT. and call them/the album TRASH. its againist the rules, so you have been reported. I would bet on the fact that you haven't even listened to the DD album

ANYWAYS, do we have news of a music video?

Danny once said that he didn't like a song on Stronger that I really liked, so I just reported him.

Danny once said that he didn't like a song on Stronger that I really liked, so I just reported him. you can say you don't "like" a song. or argue as to why a song isn't good in your opinion and have an actual debate about it. but...to say an album/artist is f**kin s**t and stuff like that, that is against the rules. if someone said that about Kellys album, everyone would be MAD and REPORTING that person. so lets be consistent.

Christmaselly sets a new record as the earliest holiday title to claim the top spot at AC Radio, on an original Christmas song that she penned, no less ! Even though Thanksgiving was later than usual, there is the potential for Kelly to set another record by staying at #1 for 6 weeks, breaking the current record of 5 weeks... ETA: Oh, Kelly is on track to top Canada's AC Radio in about a week as well and is taking off on Hot AC (and to a lesser extent, Top 40) radio currently.

Not sure off-hand, but when it hit No. 1, Rod Stewart's track had 601 spins via BDS. Maybe it reached 1,200 or so at its peak?

Kworb shows Michael Buble's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" peaked with 1304 spins and Rod Stewart's "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" peaked with 1319 spins. These aren't necessary official Sunday peaks, though. They were the top 2 currents for 2011 and 2012. No archives pre-2011 for other songs.

^^ Rod Stewart's track last year peaked with 1319 spins and total AC AI of 9.679. I'm not sure if AC panel sizes have changed in the past year.

I hope Mary J. Blige's "This Christmas" dethrones Kelly's #1. I don't think a black artist has had a #1 Cmas song on the AC chart. And a black artist hasn't had a platinum Cmas album since Nat King Cole's 1960's Cmas album, well, except Boyz II Men in 1993, but they're a group. And some would count Mariah's Cmas album, but I don't really consider her a black woman/artist.

And Blige's "This Christmas" is a bore--if she wants a number one, she should earn it on the merits of the song.

thaddyShit like this is NOT going to fly or cause no response back. Who do you think you are deciding who is and isn't black based on your own broken and ignorant judging system. Not only is she a black woman because of genetics sweetheart but she has so strongly identified herself with the black side of her gene pool, through music and culture. The woman has spent a entire career/life fighting against ignorance of this nature. I'm sure in your defense it was a passing comment that you didn't properly think about before you decided to make such a asinine comment but as a mix kid and open minded person I need you to check yourself now or stay silent for good. I'll be watching you and next time you won't be getting the benefit of doubt. Ignorance is never a pretty look and a mad drag queen isn't either. Don't fuck around.

I hope Mary J. Blige's "This Christmas" dethrones Kelly's #1. Based on airplay trends, this has a very very small chance of happening. In fact, Kelly Clarkson's 'Please Come Home For Christmas' is poised to leap 'This Christmas' very soon. Besides, IMO, 'Underneath The Tree' is much better. And, on the 'Sans Recurrent Chart' I used to make, Nat King Cole's 'The Christmas Song' did hit #1 one year.
