"Of the Night" is a song by British alternative rock band Bastille, which it's going to be the first single from the re-reissue of their debut album Bad Blood. It's a mash-up of two 1990s dance classics, which they are "The Rhythm of the Night" by Italian band Corona and "Rhythm Is a Dancer" by German eurodance group Snap!. Music Video:Out now (except North America) and available for pre-order in Ireland and the UK. Out on November 15 and November 17, respectively.

I loved this after listening to it when it was posted in the RT topic. I am a huge fan of both of the original songs, and they both sound amazing done in this soft chilled electro arrangement.

I can't believe they went with this as a single! This song is what initially got me into them!
I definitely prefer the original version of this that was on the Other People's Heartbreak mixtape, but it's sonically almost the same as it was before. I'm glad people will be able to be exposed to it. Really hope it's released in America too.

I can't decide what I think of this. I definitely don't dislike it or anything, but I'm not quite sure if it's great or just 'okay'. I love the first minute or so (especially whatever instrument that is that's playing the melody of "Rhythm is a Dancer"), but once the techno beat kicks in, it feels like the song is trying to do too much. A lot of the uncertainty may also be stemming from the fact that Bad Blood is one of my favorite albums of the year, and that hearing Dan Smith's voice in this type of song is strange.

I wonder if this will be the second CHR/Pop single in the US. It makes a lot more sense than "Bad Blood".
