With Boyfriend projected to drop to around 52 next week (according to Simon Falk), and its continued massive losses on radio, I'm not too sure if it can make the 2019 year end list anymore. Either way, I'm going to have to track the song now since it's not guaranteed to get a spot on the list.
Projected Scenario Where It Goes 52-68-84-100 On The Charts: 137300 (Current Score According To Rimetm) + 9500 + 7500 + 6000 + 5000 = 165300 Points
Not saying this is what will happen, but if it drops at its current rate and only lasts for 4 more weeks on the charts before being kicked out, it would barely miss out of the 2019 year end list at around 165000 points (160000 points if it takes the same route as Never Really Over and only lasts 3 more weeks). It will need at least 5 more weeks on the charts to break 170000 points, which is the projected cutoff on Rimetm's list.
At this point I'm pretty sure the toss up songs that can make a late entry into the year end list are On Chill, Boyfriend, Highest In The Room & Lover. I have posted the cutoffs below (according to rimetm's list) to show all possible scenarios of the 4 toss up songs making the list.
0 Songs: GIRL 1 Songs: Robbery
2 Songs: Go Loko
3 Songs: Walk Me Home
4 Songs: This Is It
So yeah, not accounting for prediction error, This Is It is the highest song that is the cutoff assuming all 4 toss up songs listed above make it.
what about 10000 Hours

what about 10000 Hours Assuming it debuts at #5-7 instead of #1-2 like Highest In The Room, it probably needs to rise to the top 3 and stay there to make it.

Surprisingly bad pop callouts for Good As Hell, wouldn't shock me if that gets caught between years now.

Still hoping for "Beautiful" to be in the YE not just because I like it, so that we can have three songs with "Beautiful" in the title in the YE Hot 100.

Still hoping for "Beautiful" to be in the YE not just because I like it, so that we can have three songs with "Beautiful" in the title in the YE Hot 100. When I did the 2019 year end list if the charts stay the same earlier this week, Beautiful would have been #100 if November 24th counted.
Here's the bottom of the year end list if November 24th counted. I have put the songs that would gain from having that extra week in bold.
89) Trip 194290
90) Good As You 193580 91) Hot Girl Summer 191030 92) Tequila 186120
93) Shotta Flow 184750 94) Love Lies 180600 95) Eyes On You 178400 96) All To Myself 177750 97) Talk You Out Of It 173350 98) This Is It 170870 99) Walk Me Home 170610 100) Beautiful 168810 - - - - - CUTOFF - - - - -
101) Go Loko 168310 102) Robbery 167880 103) GIRL 166000

Don't know what metric you're referring to but it has the 3rd worst net positive score, below both of those.

So if Billboard doesn't count the 11-24 chart week, then basically "Beautiful" would be screwed. Yikes, that's its only hope if it wants to *hopefully* sneak in.

What do you guys think of Harry Stylesโ new single as far as where it will land and the song itself? I personally like it and think itโll be a mainstream hit.

btw i updated my own predictions of what the final YE would look like yesterday (again based on rimetm's predictions) and the lowest song that has completed its chart run to make my top 100 predictions was Go Loko, at #99 (I Don't Know About You by Chris Lane was my #100, but that song hasn't finished its run yet)

Also, now that Lil Nas X is officially no longer a one hit wonder, I wonder if his next single will be from his 7 EP (C7osure or Rodeo) or whether he'll start building hype for a debut album. Release "Rodeo", then prepare the debut album hype. Damn he should've released a debut album already. He has always been in the danger of one-hit wonder territory, and as the rapidly diminishing returns of Panini has shown, the chances of him scoring another big hit that could even hold a candle to the success of OTR, the type of hit that would be required for him to do big numbers with an album, are exceedingly small. I think the best he can do now is to continue to ride out the 7 EP as much as possible, or repackage it with several new songs as an album. Or I think maybe if he takes a break now and waits a year or two for an album, he might stand a better chance, but to launch a completely new album now would be a mistake.

Or I think maybe if he takes a break now and waits a year or two for an album, he might stand a better chance, but to launch a completely new album now would be a mistake. I think releasing a short EP was the right move because if they released a 10-13 song album from the get go would've killed his momentum and would've been seen as a move by the label just to capitalize on the hype of 'Old Town Town Road', just like what had happen to Desiigner before. But by keeping it short and showing his ambition to other genres, he actually increased his life cycle on the charts. If he starts a hype cycle for a new album, I feel it would do still do numbers, at the very least a Top 20 hit. Cardi B didn't get another Top 10 hit until 'Invasion of Privacy' dropped and she got a full album bomb a good six months after 'Bodak Yellow' peaked.

I think we're close enough to the year-end, and the upper-end of the chart has been stable enough, that I am going post my predictions/projections for what will be the FINAL Top 100 songs of the year.
I'll still post weekly updates, but here's what I see making it.
I'm so unbelievably mad at how close Take What You Want was to not being shafted

Boyfriend took a sharp dive down from 36 to 59 this week. Its chances of making the 2019 year end list don't look good at all.
In other news, Lover went up to 34 this week. That means it isn't out of the race to secure a year end spot yet.
HIGHEST IN THE ROOM debuts at #1, but it will probably drop to 6-10 and stay there the following weeks, which means it will just miss out.

I still think Boyfriend will make it. On my calculations it'll be pretty safe if it charts for 3 more weeks. Even with only 2 more it would have a fairly good chance.

^ It's possible but it needs to make gains. I have at at 90700 including its most recent week @ 30 which means that for it to have a shot it'd need 70000 points at least in 5 weeks so probably have to climb up to about 20 on the hot 100 pretty quickly.
Boyfriend is so done it's gotta at least last 2 more weeks which isn't for sure given how fast it's been falling I could see it land at like 80 then just fall off. It's gonna be just off at #101 once this week's update is posted and probably won't get in the following week either. Cash $hit should be fine

HTTR's run will probably be similar to Zeze's Albeit a possibly higher one (based on the YE) given "Highest In The Room" debuted the week before the chart week "Zeze" debuted.

I am legitimately sad "Lalala" will be missing the year-end list. Would've loved to have an easy Top 10 everyone would put low.

Awww I thought boyfriend had a good shot! What would it have to do to make it at this point? It would need to stay on the charts for at least 3 more weeks to even have a running chance and 5 weeks if it wants to be completely safe.
I think everyone thought it had a good shot since it was stable in the top 25 up until last week, which was when people started to doubt it.
