Don’t Forget Here Tonight in with This Is It - I’d also move Eyes On You there, since that last week pretty much killed it.

Don’t Forget Here Tonight in with This Is It - I’d also move Eyes On You there, since that last week pretty much killed it. Eyes On You is on the 2nd category since it is still charting, but yeah I agree it will probably end up barely missing like Here Tonight and This Is It. The reason I left out Here Tonight was that it is even weaker than This Is It (which already has a very slim chance) in terms of total chart points in most predictions I've seen. I could add it but then I would need to add Girl Like You as well, a song that has around the same points Here Tonight has and also pretty much has no chance. Edit: I decided to add both Here Tonight and Girl Like You, but I still think they have no shot due to being slightly weaker than This Is It.

That's the thing - From my estimates, HT has slightly more points than This is It. I doubt either of them have much of a chance, but I think HT has more. Speaking of which....

This is a really interesting year so far. I think it's pretty interesting how all the songs that are contenders to make up the bottom 20 are either perfectly safe (breathin) or probably gonna miss (Trip and the songs below it). It's possible that all the bottom 10 has yet to make any sort of play for the year end list yet. In 2017 four of the bottom ten were still charting at the end of the year and three repeated to 2018, that might happen here too. Robbery might be the first song to land squarely in that zone if it stays on for four more weeks, or possibly Speechless. Also I think it's cool that there's four different people with different formulas this year, thanks to all of you it's been fun so far can't wait until the end of the year!

I think this years music has been better and way more interesting than last year. I mean Baby Shark is going to make it. Weve got not 1 not 2 but 3 songs that have re charted to probably make the YE in Tequila, Speechless, and When The Partys Over, and the crazy run that Close Friends has made. The return of the Jonas Brothers and them, Lady Gaga x Bradley Cooper, and Billy Ray Cyrus all hitting #1. And lastly a 17 year old alternative artist having 3 big hits. Been a crazy year so far.

I've made a list of all the country songs as of currently that can make the 2019 year end list. These are the list of songs (either currently charting or have already charted) that are either pretty safe or locked: 1) God's Country 2) Whiskey Glasses 3) Beautiful Crazy 4) Beer Never Broke My Heart 5) Look What God Gave Her 6) Speechless 7) Tequila 8) Old Town Road (This song's country status is disputed but let's not talk about the controversy.) Other songs currently charting that have small but possible chances (or are a bit too early to tell) are listed below: 1) Good As You 2) Rumor 3) Eyes On You 4) Miss Me More There's one song that doesn't fit either category (not charting nor probable) but can still possibly make it with a lot of luck: 1) This Is It
Edit: Upon request I decided to add two more songs to the last category, but I personally think they have zero chance unlike This Is It. 2) Here Tonight 3) Girl Like You
Looking at those that are already locked, there are no females there. Which makes me wish "Miss Me More" could get there as well. Compared to the last few years (especially 2016), we have a plenty of country songs there and we're not even halfway through the year! The possible YE #1 for the country side would be "God's Country" (not "Old Town Road" because Billboard won't classify it as one)

Also cant forget the fact that Country is doing better this year and thats due to them actually getting some decent stream numbers.

Then the most successful radio song so far came from an alternative band that has a career renaissance with the latest album and like Billie, also enjoying the year so far with 3 hits.

Here's my Top 100 estimates for 2019 charts up to June 15, 2019, the 29th (I believe) chart of the 52 that will probably determine the final list.
Happier becomes the first of what I suspect will be several songs to push thank u, next down the charts and out of the top ten. Sicko Mode, Wow and Old Town Road should follow shortly and I strongly suspect Sucker and Bad Guy (which sounds like the worst super-villain team-up, ever) will also do so eventually. Girls Like You (the biggest hit to peak in 2018) gets pushed out of the top ten by Old Town Road (which I think will end up the biggest hit to peak in 2019). OTR still has lots of weeks at #1 to go, and should be the #1 song of the year by September on my chart. - I wonder if Sunflower, which is creeping up on Without Me in points will ever get to #1 before Old Town Road laps both of them.
There are only 3 songs that have between 1200 and 1500 points and Billie Eilish has two of them. So despite gaining points with both those songs this week, neither climbs the chart. The same could happen next week with these two songs. She's running to stand still. At least Bad Guy is making moves, going up eight points in the top 40. Pink squeezes into the top 100 of the year this week, but I can't see Walk Me Home remaining. It's well short of the roughly 1,100 points I think will be needed to make the top100 year-end cutoff. If that 1100 barrier is correct, then Me!, Con Calma and Speechless have all guaranteed their year-end top 100 placements this week.
So, is this kinda detail too chatty or the kind of thing chartaholics live for?

Looks like 5/10 of the songs I mentioned almost 2 months ago will end up making the YE list.

So Speechless is confirmed for the 2019 year end list after it went up from 48 to 33 this week.
Hey Look Ma, I Made It is almost a safe bet to make the list at this point after it went up from 39 to 31 this week.
Someone You Loved seems likely to make the 2019 year end list due to its consistent gains the past few weeks, but it's still a bit too early to tell.
Never Really Over, Nightmare, Earfquake, The London & Cross Me are still too early to call. I expect a few of these to make it and the rest to miss.
Cool got a boost from the album bomb and went up from 59 to 44, and it was already gaining before then so it might have a chance too.
Country songs like Rumor, Good As You & Eyes On You are still up for debate, although I expect the last one to miss.
Girls Need Love has been slowly gaining the past few weeks, so there's a small chance it could pull a Close Friends and clinch a year end spot.
Miss Me More and Walk Me Home are down but could still recover, so I wouldn't count both out just yet (I personally think they will miss).
Here With Me seems more likely to miss than make it after dropping from 60 to 75 this week, and I don't think this will recover.
Robbery is down from 87 to 96 so unless it can scrape by for 3 weeks, its chances to make the list are done for.

"Someone You Loved"'s run can either be like "Say You Won't Let Go" (slowly climbs enough to give it a YE spot but not peaking Top 10) or "Close Friends" (which most of its points came from it placing below Top 50, but peaking within Top 50)

Robbery only really needs two more weeks to have a shot but even still I doubt it’ll get that.

I've updated my year-to-date top of the year ranking to include the June 22, 2019 chart.
Not a whole lot of changes:
The gap between #1 and #2 is down to 364 points, or given their relative chart positions, at least a month away from swapping. Wow and Old Twon Road are about two weeks away from climbing over thank u, next. Whiskey Glasses looks to have cemented a position in the top 100 of the year, as have to a greater extent, I Don't Care and Suge.

Country songs like Rumor, Good As You & Eyes On You are still up for debate, although I expect the last one to miss. Good As You is locked

My personal predictions for how the year will end up:
#1 song of the year: Old Town Road Top 10: OTR, Without Me, Sunflower, Happier, 7 Rings, Wow, Sucker, Talk, Bad Guy, one additional song that hasn’t hit the top 10 yet 11-20: Sicko Mode, High Hopes, Thank U Next, Eastside, Sweet But Psycho, I Don’t Care, Shallow, Going Bad, Dancing With a Stranger, one additional song that hasn’t hit the top 10 yet 21-40: Girls Like You, Better, Drip Too Hard, Middle Child, Break Up With Your Girlfriend, Suge, Pop Out, Truth Hurts, Me, If I Can’t Have You, Better Now, Zeze, Please Me, YoungBlood, Money, five songs that haven’t hit the top 20 yet
I’m not listing these in a specific order btw. I just want to see how accurate I end up being.

Worth It actually has a small chance of making the 2019 year end list huh? (That song completely flew under my radar.)
