I don't think it's totally dead yet if it can just not fall out from 78 then it'll pass Go Loko and at least put itself right within the margin of error of making the list. But still this has been a catastrophic freefall going from 19 to 78 in three weeks

- Beautiful People seems like a good bet to make the top 50. Circles has a chance as well, but it would need to beat God's Country.
- Sucker enters the top 10 and has a very small outside shot to pass 7 Rings.

- Dancing With A Stranger has a chance to briefly pop up to 12 next week before it's passed by Truth Hurts. It seems inevitable to finish at 13.

Are you sure Billboard will be excluding a certain week from the year-end charts completely?

Normally I would agree with you; however, it made sense that Billboard cut their tracking period one week earlier in 2018 since they changed from being two weeks ahead to just one week sometime in 2018. And I would assume that they would change the tracking periods for all of the years moving forward to reflect that.

There are two main reasons, the first being that Billboard has stated that they start the year end list tracking on the first week of December. The second reason being that they got rid of the 53rd week in 2018 (which was 11/24), which makes me think they'll stick to 52 weeks like they did last year.

PS: I think they will also leave out the week of November 30th, 2019 out of both 2019 and 2020 applying the same logic.

EDIT: Apologies if my wording seems confusing. There are probably people on this thread who can explain it way better than I can.

There are two main reasons, the first being that Billboard has stated that they start the year end list tracking on the first week of December. The second reason being that they got rid of the 53rd week in 2018 (which was 11/24), which makes me think they'll stick to 52 weeks like they did last year.

PS: I think they will also leave out the week of November 30th, 2019 out of both 2019 and 2020 applying the same logic.

Yeah ok makes sense. The main reason I've been ignoring it is cause all the other year end charts say stuff like "data from 3 December to 26 November", or close to that, so this one starting on 24 November would seem odd. Plus that would make it even more out of line with the calendar year so would be a backwards step.

Also I noticed that for 2013 the data used was December 1 2012 to November 30 2013.

These dates match up exactly with this year yes? So is there a possibility that 24/11/18 isn't counted but 30/11/19 is? 53 wks.

Was 2013 a 52 week charting year or a 53 week charting year? If it was 52 then chances are it 30/11/19 will most likely be ignored.
