In the spirit of .indulgecountry's poll comparing Kellie Pickler's last two albums (which can be viewed here), I have decided to pit Reba McEntire's two most recent albums against each other. They are her only two releases since her move to Valory, and I have always found the way they complement each other to be fascinating. Pick your favorites from each record, and then pick your overall favorite! *Note: "All the Women I Am" only has 11 tracks with the bonus track, while "Keep on Loving You" has 13. The last two songs on the poll are therefore the last two songs on "Keep On Loving You" pitted against each other.

Overall I like "Keep On Loving You" better. It included Reba's best song since "Georgia" and #1 missed chance of a hit single in her career. Of course I'm talking about "Maggie Creek Road"
Since 2000 Reba has put out solo albums in 2003, 2009, and 2010. The strangest release pattern of her career. Of course the Duets and some hits packages were in between those years. I wonder when Reba will put out her next release. It's almost 2014 and I haven't read anywhere that she is working on a project. I know that Reba is probably done with her but she still has fans who would love music from her regardless. Dolly sure has put out an album every 2 or 3 years since radio dumped her cause she knows her fans will buy it and still come see her on the radio. Reba needs to learn from Dolly's style and get out an album and do a bigger tour. Dolly is about a decade older than Reba and if she can maintain this, Reba sure can. I'm dying to hear new music from Reba and of course Dolly has her new album coming out in the Spring. Come on Reba, make some new music for your fans! I would love nothing more than to hear Reba do a "roots" album like Alan Jackson just did of her singing some Texas and Oklahoma swing music she is so good at doing!

1. "Strange" vs. "Turn On The Radio" 2. "Just When I Thought I'd Stopped Loving You" vs. "If I Were A Boy" 3. "I Keep On Lovin' You" vs. "The Bridge You Burn" 4. "I Want A Cowboy" vs. "Cry" 5. "Consider Me Gone" vs. "When Love Gets A Hold Of You" 6. "But Why" vs. "Somebody's Chelsea" 7. "Pink Guitar" vs. "All The Women I Am" 8. "She's Turning 50 Today" vs. "The Day She Got Divorced" 9. "Eight Crazy Hours (In The Story Of Love)" vs. "A Little Want To" 10. "Nothing To Lose" vs. "When You Have A Child" 11. "Over You" vs. "I Want A Cowboy (Dance Mix)" 12/13. "Maggie Creek Road" vs. "I'll Have What She's Having" Overall. "Keep On Loving You" vs. "All The Women I Am"
Even though it appears "All The Women I Am" won with 6 songs vs. 5, I feel that "Keep On Loving You" is a stronger album as a whole and so that one wins for me. That just proves how evenly-split I am between these two brilliant albums!
Also, I feel REALLY bad for "When Love Gets A Hold Of You"... Such a good song, but how could anything ever beat "Consider Me Gone"?!

Even thought I voted 6-5 ATWIA, I think KOLY is better album overall. I really like both though. And I actually love "When Love Gets A Hold Of You" (it's my second favourite on the album, after "The Bridge You Burn"), but "Consider Me Gone" is such a classic Reba song.
I have no idea where she goes from here. I think she can still have a hit with the right song, but she needs to do it soon if she's going to. She hasn't said anything about a new album, but she has been awfully quiet since her show got canceled. I think that really threw off her plans, and she's had to re-evaluate her next moves.
