I thought her last album was a good listen overall, but the only songs I come back to are "Kisses Down Low", "Dirty Laundry", "Freak", and "You Changed."
I do enjoy her sexy songs, but I think she is very close to crossing into Janet Jackson and R. Kelly territory with some of them. I mean, if her sex is like whoa and on fire, more power to her, but it's getting close to being too much to handle.

Talk a Good Game </3 That album is DA SHIT and I don't care what anyone has to say! Not a bad song on there. Every song works and every song is just great R&B. Such a smooth listen.

Again it will forever boggle my mind why "Red Wine" (gorgeous, perfect, amazing, etc) and to a lesser extent "Street Life" never were put out as singles.

I don't get how she was a judge on The X Factor and never used it to promote her album. that always baffled me. she pretty much acted like the album didn't exist. Or she really cared more about being a judge on the show and nurturing other talent instead of her own. It would have been appropriate for her to have performed at least once during the season. |
