Man, Feb. '15 is proving to be a pretty solid month for her:
A Grammy win
Solid NBA all-star performance
2 late night shows (one resulting in a viral video that has lots of people talking)
And her return to The Voice!


I'm fairly confident that she'll come back with good material as even her worst work has been passable, but I'm hoping she can be a force again in the industry. I'm not expecting a string of #1's, but at least a couple of hits!

Ummm... and on what planet are we leaving on. Xtina has always had the most stank attitude out of every woman in the industry, even moreso than Madonna. At times (such as on these last talk shows), she comes across as talented and having a sense of humor, but nice? No way.

If I try to think of pop stars who come across as "nice," I'd say Taylor, Britney, and Kelly. "Zany" I'd say Mariah, Celine, and Gaga. "Cool" I'd give to Rihanna and Beyonce. "Bitchy" and "holier than thou" goes to Xtina and Madonna.

I put all of these in quotes because none of us know what these people are actually like in real life. I've heard tons of stories of Mariah being incredibly sweet, but that's not necessarily her image in the public eye.

Aguilera Looks 'Back' On Upcoming Album
and this quote especially:

These songs gave Aguilera the sounds she desired and allowed her to fulfill another one of her mandates. "The thing that I try to do with each record, I don't necessarily go to the main people that are the No. 1 chart-toppers in music," she says. "I really like to go left field, think a little bit out of the box and go with someone, maybe a little bit more obscure, that I really respect. Not to say that Premier is that, but just to say that I'm not going to go to the obvious person, say, the Neptunes, Pharrell or Lil Jon. I really like to go someplace different that people haven't approached."

"Primadonna" and that upcoming smash said come to the dark side I am glad that she is going towards the more hip-hop/ R&B oriented sound again with Da Internz and Premo being back in the picture.

Seriously, though, I love that Christina worked with Sia, Nicki, etc. BEFORE they became big names; it does show she wants to do her own thing.

I'm not sure how I feel about Christina heading in a more Hip Hop/Urban direction,(I prefer the more soulful Pop/throwback sound), but I'm definitely interested to see what she has in mind for the sound of the next album.

That's kind of the sound I expect. When I meant Hip-Hop it was a throwback to the sound she had with DJ Premier on B2B. Even Da Internz are pulling away from their Bangladesh rip-off sound and going for more souful productions that still have some bite to them. I like when she pulls people from their usual element.

Mariah, Rihanna, Katy, and Madonna can constantly be throwing all the shade in the world and mistreat their fans, but Christina has the most "stank" attitude because she dragged your favorite singer 12 years ago.

You need to not only get over it, but get over the fact the Christina IS a diva and she IS very personable one too, and actually bothers to treat her fans and collaborators well

Xtina's stank attitude was her on doing...she's done things to other artists that were bitchy and unnecessary...it finally caught up to her at the end of the last decade and now she must have evaluated her attitude. the fan-mistreating i wasnt referring to mariah. mariah is known for having a superiority complex and being particularly shady to countless singers though. i was talking about Madonna insulting the flowers she was given from a fan, rihanna mocking a fan who was trying to dress like her, and why not bring up the fact that Britney Spears once called a fan asking for an autagraph a c*nt? arent all those things bitchy, nasty and unecessary?

Not that it matters, Christina can be a saint and people will still feel threatened by her and find ways to attempt to bring her down in order to elevate their favorite singers. And  even if she is a diva, so are other famous pop stars, at least she owns up to it and knows how to treat people well when she has to.
