^Mimi's track is the only one to return to the Hot 100 and reigns, but, as hard as it is to believe, it's not only about AIWFICY. Look at those 50-plus- and 40-plus-year-old holiday classics that continue to endure. And while not listed here, "White Christmas" is even older and still gets lots of play.

Year end countdowns should also be starting soon, so expect big hits from earlier this year to rise a lot. I think airplay goes back to normal around mid January.

Nice airplay for Kelly. Would love to see UTT perform better next year.

Bing Crosby (my avatar picture) still receives significant airplay year after year with "White Christmas," which was recorded in 1942. He sold an estimated 300 million records worldwide, charted roughly 350 songs (including nearly 40 #1s), hosted the number one radio show in America for a decade, was the number one box office draw for 5 years (and was in the top ten for 15 years), and won an Oscar as Best Actor in 1944. Should I call him Legening Godsby? 'Cause wigs are permanently snatched :)

Well Bing Crosby was considered a legend so not that far fetched to call him one.

I know, I was just joking and throwing him into the wig-snatching/legend-God/bitch-bowing-down Pulse speak ha ha I think he is just a little too old and out of date for all of that. No need to bring him into it. He's from a time period before we could accurately track sales, airplay and things of that nature. Were black people even allowed to buy records back then or request songs on the radio?

AIWFCIY is the only song in the top 20 to go up
Also any idea when the 1/4/14 chart will be posted? I think it was supposed to be today (For the top 10) Also thanks for the work you put into posting this chart it's very helpful

They had very advanced technology that would prevent black phone numbers from requesting music as well.

Times are different Bing bong Cosby would have been eaten alive in 2013/2014. His little white christmas song was cute but its all about Mariah Carey and "All I Want For Christmas" now, all day every day. There is no competition for it.

Mariah's 'Christmas Time Is In The Air Again' puts me in the same feeling as 'White Christmas'. Oddly enough, I'm a Mariah stan, but I prefer 'White Christmas' over 'AIWFCIY'. But at the same time, I prefer 'Oh Santa' over 'AIWFCIY' so I know many will dismiss my opinion. and I'm ok with that lol.
2nd top 10 airplay hit for Godga. If we can only get that damn video *rolls eyes*. I thought FOR SURE it'd be out this week. I thought I read in the Gaga Daily forums that Vevo was running ads for it. Maybe I misread.

That song white christmas is boring dreck. People of the 40s didn't know any better though.

The song is great. The movie, however, was a complete joke.

I guess this week is clearly Rihanna vs. Kesha...Who can hang on for #1. Can Rihanna get her 51st week at #1?

In the UK it's the Wham song Last Christmas that rules. It was the UK's Spotify most streamed song on Christmas Day. Mariah was #3 with the rest of the chart being Michael Bublé & The Pogues. I guess Mariah hasn't take over worldwide yet .

Yes- "White Christmas" is an undisputed classic. And the sentiments resonated well during the World War II era. I mean, 70+ years after its release, it's still one of the most-played holiday songs on an annual basis. All hail King Bing. :'(
