"XO" is No. 21 on Mediabase's seven-day rolling pop chart, with a rolling bullet of +1,275 spins (the third-biggest bullet in the top 50), so I wouldn't exactly call that struggling. It doesn't have to be perform as spectacularly as the album has. It's also top 40 at rhythmic. Between this and "Drunk in Love," that's more than 75 million in Mediabase audience. But 75 million audience is barely enough to put you in the top 15. Lead singles from huge artists usually perform better than that, right? With all the buzz surrounding this album one'd expect radio to be all over these singles, just as it happened with Roar, for instance."Roar" is an exception not an example. Most big name artists need weeks to get considerable airplay and "XO" did't even get a big first week radio deal as far as I know. Katy Perry is Katy Perry.

Early prediction for 1/25/2014?
1. Timber (that's a given) 2. Counting Stars (last week in the top 2, sadly it won't be their first chart topper) 3. Dark Horse 4. The Monster 5. Say Something 6. Royals 7. Let Her Go 8. Demons (after a rough, unexpected fall last week, I feel it's gonna rebound this week, position-wise) 9. Wake Me Up 10. Story of my Life

how many weeks did "Wake Me Up" appears in top 10? reached 20 weeks? Yes 20 weeks as of 1/18/2014. Probably two more weeks for a total of 22 weeks. I think this would be the most ever for a song that didn't peak in the top 3. I remember Starships, which peaked at #5 was in the top 10 for 21 weeks and broke the record for the debuting with the most weeks in the top 10 (it debuted in the top 10 and stayed there immediately for 21 weeks in a row without dropping out). It's quite interesting. I'm still pissed, though, that WMU was least successful in the United States -___- worldwide chart topper and one of my favorites!

how many weeks did "Wake Me Up" appears in top 10? reached 20 weeks? also it's a great achievement for WMU because not a lot of songs get 20 weeks in the top 10...maybe 1 or maximum 2 songs per year so its longevity is outstanding! Surely it will get 40+ weeks on the chart; it might even get more total weeks on than Blurred Lines which was on for 12 weeks (what is it at now, 38 weeks?) and will finish with approximately 45-50 weeks (after it finally dies down on radio LOL). I guess it somewhat compensates for the fact that it didn't reach the top 3 at all :3

Was Juicy J in a stable shooting that pic? That would indicate some literal imagery for the song. I mean, there was a lion for "Roar," why not a horse for this video.
DH is ruling the gains.

Dark Horse has climbed to #1 on iTunes without a video so far, when the video comes out, expect massive sales and streaming, and a 2nd #1 from prism.

Thanks for posting the updates! So glad that radio is finally supporting Timber. It's on power rotation on my rhythmic radio and still sounds so fresh! I can replay it many times and never gets old. ---- Also: congrats to One Republic! 'counting stars 'is one of my favorite songs this year.

It will be if not SOML then Team or something, but not those two songs. They've run their course in the top 10

How high will "The Man" reach? Not just on this week's chart, but next weeks as well. You know during the 49ers/Seattle game the beats commercial will be played non-stop the entire time.

That depends on whether or not it will be promoted to radio. Haven't seen any updates for it and I'm not sure how it's doing on streaming...but surely it will reach the top 40 within the next couple of weeks (as long as it maintains top 10 in sales as it is right now). It's hard to tell what's going to happen afterwards, though.

Does "The Man" has chances to get into no.1 on iTunes? The gap between it and DH is already less than 2%... I know DH has 2 versions... but if The Man hits no.1, will it has a chance to be no.1 on Digital Songs next week, or Dark Horse?

It really just depends on what happens between the two songs in the coming week. It could go either way as of now.

NEON TREES – Sleeping With A Friend: 2.409 PHARRELL WILLIAMS – Happy: 1.515
This proves my point before on how happy with 0.555 is a sad number. Neon Trees Debut with 5 times that number. And happy has a little over 1/2 of that right now.
