Jumps 13-2 on the BB HOT 100. Now I'm thinking they could probably move on from this song. Move on? The song still has plenty of space for growth. In particular this should definitely capture the attention of Pop PD's. It's not just about going to #1 on the Hot 100 (it won't) but also about creating a bonafide smash with longevity that will continue to sell albums.

Plus with pop programmers a solid hit would give them a reason to play the next single when it takes off instead of waiting.

This is already well out of the top 10 on iTunes. I wonder if next week without the streaming boost it could potentially fall out of the top 10 again?

It's actually top 20 in both airplay and sales and the streaming will still fall to probably 5-7million. I suspect she will still be Top 10 next week as well.

I think it could go #1 with a big performance after Pop airplay has increased.
Still #2 is way higher than I was expecting. Hopefully she can get more top 10s with this album because it's honestly her best one yet.

My rhythmic station has been playing the full song, no radio edit. Glad I haven't had to hear it chopped up yet.

awesome PR at the grammies! Jay-Z & Beyonce making out on stage being a sexy romantic couple, that'll get some sells;)

KIIS and Z100 are already playing this. "already" doesn't really feel appropriate. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Sure they're ahead of many pop stations but way behind the overall momentum of the song. Oh well, hopefully this spurs a lot more pop stations to play it now.

Just heard it on Z100. Its so refreshing to see radio embrace a banger like this over a safe pop-ballad.

I really hope they try to give this a proper push here. It's not really pop-friendly or conventionally catchy enough to go #1, but I feel that it could potentially reach the top 10, which would be fantastic considering she hasn't had a big hit at this format in almost 5 years (not counting Telephone).

The writing is on the wall. Labels will do album only releases and streaming. Seems like there is more money going this route and is a compromise between the needs of the listener and the record company.

Except there are artists that sell more singles than albums. Not everyone is a Beyoncé who can come out of the gate swinging selling albums like hotcakes. That's why they look at TEA (track equivalent album numbers) more than anything else. If an artist has enough million(s) selling singles then it's just as good as selling the album when all that sales money is converted.

Thats a good point but even digital singles sales are down this year...

Callout scores! 74.0% are familiar. 54.7% positive (9th highest), 26.3% favorite (9th highest), 30.7% negative (6th highest ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) ). Won't be #1, but should be enough for top 10 with its sales. I posted it in the wrong section.
