Sucks this is yet another Beyonce smash not permitted to enter the gates of pop's top 10, but the consolation is this will probably help "Partition" peak in the #11-15 range faster.

Won't this be #12 on the night update if Ellie Goulding goes recurrent?
At least it outpeaked 'Best Thing I Never Had'.

Well, I can live w/this peaking at #12 on Pop. Could've easily went Top 10 had they pushed they properly.
Anywho, as many would love to think 'Partition' could do better, I don't see it happening w/o promotion. I do feel they are saving the promo for either 'Blow' or 'Pretty Hurts'.

This song is incredibly boring, I can't wait for it to go away. It's like pop radio feels obligated to play it after it shot up #2 on the Hot 100.

Is there a possibility of this going top ten at all?

Is there a possibility of this going top ten at all? It lost almost 200 spins today. It's dead.

I thought this would be a sure shot at top 10. It's been a while since Beyonce's last top 10 on pop

It just goes to show how messed up Pop radio is, they had no excuse not to play this song considering it met all the requirements to reach the Top 10; consistent sales, great streaming points, and an overall good reception from the general public. But it's water under the bridge now, It's great that Bey is to point in her career where she doesn't need the support of Pop radio to have a hit record. Having a smash on Pop radio would just be extra.

I think this should have gone a little higher on pop, but the callout scores just weren't very good at all. I think top 10 would have been good given the great album sales, good single sales, and good video views.

Actually that isnt true otherwise it wouldve fallen flat on all formats instead it was Beys biggest hit in years and people continue to play it when given the choice to choose what they actually want to hear they choose this song....

Although it would've been nice to see it reach the Top 10, I'm happy with this song's performance on pop. First of all, I don't believe it ever received an adds date here and it still managed to outpeak the song that did get an official release. Secondly, it did fantastic for the type of song it is. I mean, when was the last time a song this distinctly urban got this high on pop? It's not like the song just screams "pop smash" either. It's first-and-foremost a hip-hop song, but with pop appeal. I'm sure it was pretty polarizing for many pop listeners, so coming so close to the Top 10 is pretty good. It also slayed its two main formats and has sold really well, so yeah, I'm happy with its performance.
