Obviously I'm interested in the collabo with Gwen but the Tinashe one I was surprised to see. I think that could be pretty good as well. Can't wait to hear!

Calvin posted this video on his Instagram account that a lot of things going on, so I assume he's talking about the Beatport release of "Burnin'" a week before Motion drops out and the music video of "Slow Acid", which comes out next week. Anyway, regarding "Burnin'", looks like someone Calvin played it on its his DJ set before because there are some live versions around the web about it. The preview sounds good, but I was expecting more from Calvin and R3hab to be honest. Also, I'm intrigued why "C.U.B.A" didn't make the cut if it's considered that this one and "Burnin'" will have the same release through Beatport. |

Calvin Harris will be performing at the 2014 MTV European Music Awards!  Disclaimer: Calvin has only released three albums ( I Created Disco, Ready for the Weekend and 18 Months), not four, as the article from MTV mentions. Motion is still not out and it will be in less than three weeks.
Submissions for the GRAMMYs from Goldderby. "Summer"• Record of the Year • Song of the Year • Best Dance Recording Also, "I Will Never Let You Down", the song he wrote and produced for Rita Ora, was submitted in the Song of the Year field. Personally, I think that he has more chances to be nominated with "Summer" in the Best Dance Recording field than Record and Song of the Year. If any of the latter actually happens, :o

The preview of "Together" seems so good! Can't wait to listen to the full track to be honest.
As you may know, Calvin performed at the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL Festival) last Sunday and it's reported that one of the songs that he played was "Overdrive", the track with Ummet Ozcan on his DJ set, around the 65min. mark. Also, Ummet Ozcan played part of that track (around the 1:30min. mark) in his DJ set at SLAM!FM studio!, a Dutch radio station, last month, where he was interviewed and mentioned that upcoming collaboration with Calvin Harris, as well as the one with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. |

First of all, when I saw the YouTube embed video with the VEVO logo two days ago, I thought that Calvin uploaded the full track on his YouTube/VEVO channel and I was like, what's going on here? Then, I realized that it was another channel with the fake logo and Calvin deleted the preview from his Instagram account. So, the question is, why did he delete the preview? However, I think a purpose was done: To generate buzz 
John Newman posted that he wrote "Faith" on Twitter. With this premise, it's pretty sure to guess that someone will sing this track and since John and nobody else aren't credited as the featured artist, I assume that Calvin will sing it. YES!!!  Anyway, I'm wondering if he will do the vocals on "It Was You" or not, since he said that there's a couple more and I'm still thinking that this means more than two.
Calvin Harris's track "Outside", which features vocals from Ellie Goulding, will be out at midnight UK time 8:30 am. UK time, according to one of his last tweets. I'm wondering why would he release it that time since it's probably an instant grat. I mean, the only explanation I could find is that it's going to have its first play on BBC Radio 1 or Capital FM and that it will be, in fact, the next single, but it's being said that it's going to be "Open Wide", the track which features Big Sean. ETA: Oh! |
