Wait, what?!? :o Since Calvin mentioned "new", it's impossible to be "Outside" and I guess it could be either "Open Wide" or any of the remaining instrumental tracks, with the exception of "Burnin", since it's going to be released through Beatport on Wednesday. The reason of the former is mainly because of the information from Music Week that it's the next single. Anyway, regarding "Burnin": Looks like it was premiered this Monday on 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles, but it got unnoticed because of the premiere of "Outside" that day. "Outside" (Video shoot): Also, Calvin and Ellie posted some photos ( 1 and 2) on Instagram and both of them have the same outfits from the photos above. Also, the music video will be directed by Emil Nava too.
By the way, I'm going to be in the minority here. 1. "Slow Acid" 2. "Summer" 3. "Outside" 4. "Blame" 5. "Under Control" 6. "C.U.B.A" I like all of them though~

I know this is from almost four days ago, but slay Calvin the Top 10 on the US iTunes Dance charts.
According to BBFC (British Board of Film Classification), Calvin already shot the music video for "Open Wide", the collaboration with Big Sean, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is, in fact, the new track he will revealed this Monday. Also, the length of it is 3:42min., so I assume there would be an extended intro/outro and it's mentioned that it will have a strong bloody violence, sex references and strong language. Well, I don't know if it's referring to the track, which it's labeled as explicit on iTunes, or the music video. If it's the latter, it will give me vibes of the one for "Drinking from the Bottle" to be honest.

Lol @ Rather Be considered 'dance'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think that this term is wide and that's the reason why Clean Bandit is labeled as a dance act. Also, I personally don't know which genre I could label them, as they mix electronic music with classical and deep-house elements.
From Billboard: YES!

Both "Slow Acid" and "Outside" have been uploaded on Spotify. spotify:track:70CuZJtPDdCD3cphDDhjJq
So, there still isn't any information if a deluxe version of Motion will be released yet, but looks like there will be a Japanese physical edition of it, with two additional tracks: The previously unreleased Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano mix of "Under Control" and the R3hab & Ummet Ozcan remix of "Summer", according to HMV Japan.

Slow Acid is the type of solo Calvin record I was hoping for; it will probably be my Mansion from this album.

"Slow Acid" is so good. Everything else just feels like a step back from 18 Months.

So, Calvin has announced that he will revealed "Open Wide", along the music video, tomorrow. Now, the question is: Will it be the third instant grat from Motion or the next single from it?

Lol @ Rather Be considered 'dance'. They have electronic elements in their music, and classical dance instruments. It screams a new sub genre of dance to me...

Lol @ Rather Be considered 'dance'. It's the same with Lindsey Stirling. She mixes classical and dance, and "Shatter Me" is on dance :)

Not here for the ongoing C.U.B.A. shade. 1. C.U.B.A 2. Blame (Open Wide) 3. Slow Acid 4. Summer 5. Outside 6. Under Control I love all of them though. I can't describe how ready I am for this album right now .

Wow the collaboration with All About She is giving me everything right now! It reminds me of Rudimental with a blend of Calvin Harris in the production.

The track with Gwen sounds like it would have been better if Calvin had done the vocals himself.

"Open Wide" (Music Video):
Few notes after the first play of Motion: • He's singing on "Faith". Holy sh*t! Slay me with your vocals, Calvin :'( • "Love Now" is amazing and it's so great to find out All About She in that way. A mix between Clean Bandit and Rudimental productions with Calvin's is always a pleasure to listen. Definitely, one of the highlights of the album. • Is Calvin singing on "It Was You"? If it's him, his voice has a lot of vocoder on it and his accent is too difficult to catch up, making it really unrecognizable, so maybe it should be an uncredited featured one. I'm torn. Anyway, his production with Firebeatz is good and it's meant to be played on a DJ set at all. • "Overdrive" is the typical big room track, so Calvin and Ummet Ozcan deliver on it and it's a good one on a DJ set. • I wasn't expecting that on "Ecstasy"! :o This is so different from Calvin (well, I'm not too sure, but the production gave me teas of a slow mix between "Love Souvenier" and "Burns Night". I could be wrong though.) and Theo Hutchcraft's vocals are too good. • Calvin + Haim! :'( It really works on "Pray to God". Please, it needs to be a single at any point of this era. • Calvin's signature production along Gwen Stefani's vocals on "Together". Slayed! Well, it could have been better honestly, but it's a good collaboration. • "Burnin" has the same pattern of "It Was You" and "Overdrive", but it's enjoyable to listen a Calvin and R3hab track, although my expectations were higher on this good. Obviously, it's perfect for a DJ set to be honest and I see myself blasting during it. Anyway, I see both of them including the 'booyah!' shoutout on it • OMFG! So, Calvin left this gem at the end of the album. I can't. His production along Tinashe's vocals (and ad-libs) on "Dollar Signs" is too perfect. It's a single-worthy to be honest and a crossover hit in all the senses.

Open wide is the reason why CUBA doesn't get to his album...
It's quite nice, actually, although not as good as the others...

After few listens: 1) Faith: good track, his vocals 2) Under Control: still one of my favourite tracks, it never gets old 3) Blame: I still hate it, but I can say that there are worst tracks on the album. 4) Love Now: this track is for sure a standout of the album. Simply amazing 5) Slow Acid: another great track, I don't know why many people hate it. Still in my top 3. 6) Outside: I love it Next official single please. 7) It Was You: meh I can't get into it. 8) Summer: still the best song on the album 9) Overdrive: so uninspired, just a typical big room track similar to thousands others. 10) Ecstacy : definitely unexpected :o It's very good tho. Theo's vocals 11) Pray To God: not feeling it tbh. 12) Open Wide: if C.U.B.A. wasn't already enough awful, now we have also a even more terrible vocal mix. The lyrics 13) Together: not disappointed by it I love Gwen and the song is literally perfect. 14) Burnin': this and Open Wide are by far the worst songs on the album. 15) Dollar Signs: I follow Tinashe since her first mixtape, Aquarius is one of my favourite albums of the year. I really hope Calvin releases it as single, she deserves that global explosure. Very solid album, it is as good as 18 Months but still far from Ready For The Weekend, the masterpiece he probably will never top :'( C.U.B.A. (Open Wide), Overdrive, Burnin' and It Was You don't deserve to be on the album. He should have randomly release them on Beatport in the next months. They are generic and similar to tons of other recent EDM productions, they're just meant to be played in his DJ sets, I don't see why they have to be on this album.

I like his Gwen collaboration "Together" (especially the second verse) but doesn't seem like he is re-inventing the wheel with this album. Still very enjoyable though.

"Outside" (Video shoot):
YES, Calvin! Make Motion a visual album Anyway, I guess that this confirms, in a sort of way, that "Under Control", "Summer" and "Blame" are the singles from the album so far, while "Slow Acid", "Outside" and "Open Wide" are still album tracks because of the hashtags.

"Burnin" (Music Video) Well, I wasn't expecting a video for this to be released at all to be honest. Anyway, the original mix from Beatport, which it's out exclusively there, has the same length on iTunes, but both of them are named differently. I mean, it's called "Burnin'" with an apostrophe on the former, while it doesn't have any on the latter. I'm confused.

I like this. It's got a little more variety than 18 Months, he really meshed with his features' styles well. It lacks the 10/10s of Sweet Nothing and I Need Your Love, but a few songs come close. Dollar Signs is probably the one song that hits that high.

The video got deleted I know, but it's replaced now. I think Calvin Harris' team hates me. I mean, it wasn't my fault that it was uploaded on Calvin's YouTube Channel label, Fly Eye Records, earlier and not on Spinnin' Records YouTube channel. Also, they could have put the former as a private video instead of deleting it because that one didn't have the name tags on it though~

Looks like there's going to be a key promotion campaign for Motion this weekend in the UK (London, Manchester and Glasgow), since people are going to listen to some tracks of the album in the back of the black cabs, including a free ride. From the Manchester Evening Post:
It has been revealed that Sony/ATV Music Publishing has extended its long-term worldwide publishing deal with Calvin and it includes a partnership in his record label, Fly Eye Records. This is what Martin Bandier, Sony/ATV Chairman and CEO, said: Calvin Harris said the following: Mark Gillespie, Calvin's manager at Three Six Zero Group, added: And Guy Moot, Sony/ATV President of UK and European Creative, said:
From Capital FM: "Together" is going to receive its first play later tomorrow on Capital FM and it's expected to be played after 8pm. GMT. Let's remember they played "Outside" as well on October 20.
