Wake Me Up out of the top 10 nooooo! It had so much momentum and was going for a record number of weeks in the top 10 (for songs that never hit the top 3) D: I love the song and it's been huge, but that's kind of made-up category lol Didn't you know that new records are created daily on Pulse.

So much for that easy #1 RiRi. Maybe next time.
DIL may not reach top ten for awhile, but I hope once its airplay is huge, the sales will follow.
and good job of Timber blocking DH from #1

I know it's going be awhile for 'DIL' to hit the Top 10 on the H100, but I'm about tired of seeing it stuck at #2 on R&B/HH.

DIL is #1 there. It's the side effect of including BB deciding what the genre is and not radio. The radio based genre charts give you more useful information.

Chart Watch: Lorde Has Two Of The Top 10
.
By Paul Grein 1 hour ago Yahoo Music
Lorde will go the Grammy Awards on Sunday with two songs in the top 10 on the Hot 100. Her former #1 smash "Royals" holds at #7. Her new hit "Team" jumps from #11 to #8. Lorde is nominated for Record and Song of the Year, but was passed over for a nomination for Best New Artist—a decision that is hard to fathom. Lorde's debut album, "Pure Heroine," which is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, has been listed in the top 10 for 11 weeks.
A second song, Bastille's "Pompeii," enters this week's top 10 at #10. The song reached #2 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart last year. "Pompeii" topped the Alternative Songs chart for four weeks last fall. The alternative format has played a key role in breaking a lot of new artists in the past few years. Billboard's Gary Trust reports that this is the eighth time since 2011 that a #1 hit on the alternative chart hit by an artist new to that chart has crossed over to reach the top 10 on the Hot 100. It follows Foster The People's "Pumped Up Kicks," "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra, "We Are Young" by fun. featuring Janelle Monae, Alex Clare's "Too Close," the Lumineers' "Ho Hey," Capital Cities' "Safe And Sound" and Lorde's "Royals." There are some first-rate records in there, which have made pop radio a better listening experience.
"Timber" by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha holds at #1 for the third week. This ties Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon," which spent three weeks at #1 in early 1984. The song has a similarly zesty arrangement and harmonica solo.
"Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J jumps from #4 to #2. It's behind "Timber" in overall Hot 100 points by just 2% and is expected to move up next week. It would be Perry's ninth #1, putting her in a tie with Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Bee Gees and Usher. (That's pretty heady company.) The song tops the 2 million mark in digital sales this week.
OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" dips from #2 to #3, but it moves up to #1 on the Radio Songs chart, which is based entirely on airplay. It's the group's first #1 on this chart, which is surprising, given the magnitude of such past hits as "Apologize."
"Say Something" by A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera rebounds from #5 to #4, matching its highest ranking to date. We're all focused on this year's Grammys, but looking ahead to next year's awards, this is a good bet to be nominated for both Record and Song of the Year.
"The Monster" by Eminem featuring Rihanna drops from #3 to #5. It's #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for the 12th week.
Here's a recap of this week's top 10 songs.
The Top Five: "Timber" by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha holds at #1 for the third week in its 15th week on the chart. This is its 10th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #3 (202K)… "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J jumps from #4 to #2 in its 18th week on the chart. This is its third week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #1 (261K)… OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" dips from #2 to #3 in its 31st week on the chart. This is its 13th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #5 (156K)… "Say Something" by A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera rebounds from #5 to #4 in its 11th week on the chart. This is its eighth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #2 (208K)… "The Monster" by Eminem featuring Rihanna drops from #3 to #5 in its 12th week on the chart. It has been in the top five the entire time. Digital sales rank: #7 (136K).
The Second Five: Passenger's "Let Her Go" holds at #6 for the second week in its 25th week on the chart. This is its eighth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #9 (130K)… Lorde’s "Royals" holds at #7 for the second week in its 29th week on the chart. This is its 21st week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #14 (88K)… Lorde's "Team" jumps from #11 to #8 in its 17th week on the chart. It's her second top 10 hit. Digital sales rank: #8 (133K)…One Direction's "Story Of My Life" inches up from #10 to #9 in its 12th week on the chart. This is its seventh week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #13 (92K)…Bastille's "Pompeii" jumps from #12 to #10 in its 23rd week on the chart. This is the group's first top 10 hit. Digital sales rank: #10 (129K).
Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. Avicii’s "Wake Me Up!" drops from #8, ending a 21-week run in the top 10. Imagine Dragons' "Demons" drops from #9, ending a 12-week run in the top 10.
"Drunk In Love" by Beyonce featuring Jay Z jumps from #16 to #12 in its fifth week. This equals its highest ranking to date. The song may, as early as next week, become Beyonce's first top 10 hit as a lead artist since "Sweet Dreams" in November 2009.
Two songs that aren't yet listed in the top 10 on the Hot 100 are already ranked in the top 10 on Hot Digital Songs. They are Aloe Blacc's "The Man" (Digital sales rank #4, 165K) and "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz (Digital sales rank #6, 148K).
"Can't Remember To Forget You" by Shakira featuring Rihanna is the week's top new entry at #28. This is her highest debut on the Hot 100, surpassing "She Wolf," which bowed at #34 in August 2009. It's from an upcoming Shakira album. "Can't Remember To Forget You" isn't the first title that played with these two words. Tavares' "Remember What I Told You To Forget" hit #25 in 1975.
Pharrell Williams' "Happy," which vaulted from #98 to #56 on last week's Hot 100, logs its third week at #1 on The U.K.'s Official Singles chart. In addition, the song has been nominated for an Oscar for Original Song.
To My Readers: I'll have a separate Chart Watch report on this week's key movers and debuts on the Hot 100 later today. I won't recap the top 10 in that second report. It will be fresh material.

Chart Watch: No Wonder Pharrell Is “Happy”
.
By Paul Grein 35 minutes ago Yahoo Music
Pharrell Williams' "Happy" vaults from #56 to #25 in its third week on the Hot 100, just days after the song (from the movie "Despicable Me 2") received an Oscar nomination for Original Song. This is Pharrell's first top 40 hit as a lead artist since "Frontin'" (featuring Jay Z) hit #5 in September 2003. "Happy" is a transatlantic smash. The song logs its third week at #1 on The U.K.'s Official Singles chart.
Pharrell is nominated for seven Grammys on Sunday, including Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. He won that award 10 years ago as one-half of the Neptunes (with Chad Hugo). If he wins again this year, which is likely, he'll become only the third producer in Grammy history to win in this category both on his own and with a partner. The others are Quincy Jones (who won twice on his own and once with Michael Jackson) and Babyface (who won three times on his own and once with L.A. Reid).
The big news on this week's Hot 100 is that Lorde has two songs in the top 10. I covered that, and the rest of the top 10 action, in a Chart Watch blog that we posted earlier today. If you missed it, here's a link. This blog is a look at key movers and debuts below the top 10.
Beyonce's two other current chart hits also move up with bullets. "XO" jumps from #50 to #45 in its fifth week. "Partition" jumps from #90 to #86 in its second week.
Jason Derulo lands his seventh top 20 hit as "Talk Dirty" (featuring 2 Chainz) leaps from #29 to #15 in its fifth week. (Digital sales rank #6, 148K)…Aloe Blacc's "The Man" leaps from #24 to #17 in its fourth week. (Digital sales rank #4, 165K). Both songs are sure things to make the top 10.
"Can't Remember To Forget You" by Shakira featuring Rihanna is the week's top new entry at #28. This is Shakira's highest debut on the Hot 100, surpassing "She Wolf," which bowed at #34 in August 2009. Female/female collabos are still relatively rare, but both of these artists have notched top 20 hits with such endeavors. "Beautiful Liar" by Beyonce & Shakira reached #3 in April 2007. Nicki Minaj's "Fly" (featuring Rihanna) hit #19 in December 2011. Incidentally, "Can't Remember To Forget You" isn't the first song title that played with these two words. Tavares' "Remember What I Told You To Forget" peaked at #25 in 1975.
Miley Cyrus' "Adore You" jumps from #34 to #30 in its sixth week….American Authors' "Best Day Of My Life" jumps from #38 to #32 in its 10th week…Luke Bryan's "Drink A Beer" dips from #33 to #34 in its 11th week. The song is #1 on Hot Country Songs for the second week…Avicii's "Hey Brother" jumps from #44 to #37 in is seventh week…Cole Swindell's "Chillin' It" jumps from #48 to #38 in its 14th week. It's from the country singer's upcoming debut album, "Cole Swindell," which is due Feb. 18.
Eric Church's "Give Me Back My Hometown" vaults from #95 to #55 in its second week…"Paranoid" by Ty Dolla $ign featuring B.o.B jumps from #75 to #65 in its fifth week…Brantley Gilbert's "Bottoms Up" jumps from #77 to #67 in its fifth week. The song has already climbed as high as #58…The Fray's "Love Don't Die" jumps from #82 to #72 in its third week.
"Loyal" by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne & French Montana/Too Short is the week's second highest new entry at #82. It's the fourth Hot 100 hit from Brown's sixth studio album, "X"…Rascal Flatts' "Rewind" debuts at #83…Blake Shelton's "Doin' What She Likes" debuts at #84. It's vying to become the fourth top 30 hit from Shelton's first #1 album, "Based On A True Story…"
Somo's "Ride" jumps from #100 to #89 in its second week…Calvin Harris' "Thinking About You" debuts at #93. It's the fifth Hot 100 hit from his third album, "18 Months"…"Take Me Home" by Cash Cash featuring Bebe Rexha debuts at #94. It's from Cash Cash's 2013 EP, "Overtime"…Thompson Square's "Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About" debuts at #95. It's the second Hot 100 single from the duo's second album, "Just Feels Good"…Hillsong United's "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" debuts at #100. It's from the EP "Oceans." Hillsong United is an Australian worship band, also known simply as United.

Happy in the top 25 yay! I'm rooting for this song to hit the top 10! And I hope Wake Me Up returns to the top 10 for at least 1 or 2 more weeks to extend its record on my made-up chart achievement for songs that haven't peaked in the top 3

I'm shocked that Apologize never hit #1 on radio songs...I thought sales disadvantage against songs such as No One and Low were what stopped it from hitting #1 on the Hot 100...I thought it was dominating on radio! :s

Nort when some of the greatest songs get looked over and trash like preaching music comes and takes a spot on the chart.

just goes to show you number of weeks at #1 isn't everything. Roar is a prime example.
