The 1989 chart was the best. I think I have all those songs on 45 or 12" single.

Even the songs you didn't mention: "I'm Yours," "Heartless," and "You Found Me," make it one of the most pop-oriented and lasting-hit-filled top 10s in recent memory.

Anybody think radioactive can outlast demons on the hot 100? lol, that would be awesome, but I doubt it.

If Katy is #1, this will be the second time a Grammy performance has helped propel her to #1 without actually winning any Grammys (same happened with "Part of Me").

^yes. Question is though what would all of you have preferred (a Grammy for Katy or peaking at #2 on the Hot 100 haha). I'd love for her to get a grammy but I still prefer a #1 song esp. one like this. (vs Part Of Me) which is more #2 sounding than Dark Horse.

^ There is no "if". DH is guaranteed #1. (Unless there's some other Steve Kardynal parody circulating that I'm unaware of which I doubt)

Dark Horse would've been #1 without the Grammys. The Grammy's don't even have any effect on this week. The week it counts will be her second week at number one (assuming she gets it today).

You're right, DH would be #1 without the Grammys, but it certainly didn't hurt to have a live performance.

DH was an unstoppable force, with or without the Grammys- its performance without a video or performance on a big TV outlet showed that. But, yes, additional exposure doesn't hurt, as long as it's a decent presentation. :)

How much sales could that give, 5-10k? You'd be surprised. Didn't 21 sell around 400k the track week that the Grammy's aired, and then soared to over 700k with the full tracking week behind it?
