You're Mine has grown back on me. It's very singalongable. Madd catchy. It's just very simplistic, production-wise and vocally, but I definitely enjoy it. It could have stayed an album track though, now that I think about it. One of her best non-introspective albums tracks in recent years, for sure.

This whole album era, if you could call it that, has been a mess. It is now April 28th so there is no way her album can drop on the 6th without it being a total flop. I don't think it will matter what date it eventually comes out, it will still be a flop. There doesn't seem to be any buzz around Mariah right now. I guess there really is never going to be a good time to release this album. The key is the singles. If she is able to put out a quality single in advance of the album maybe she can create some good buzz. I"m not optimistic.

This year she might do it knowing the release date will be May 27th. That does raise an interesting question though, do you release it the Tuesday before (May 13th) or the Tuesday after, but then she's promoting an album that isn't available to buy yet (for a few days) and in this day and age people have a very short term memory. Maybe she'll digitally release it on the Friday of the 16th... I remember her summer concert series was the morning that TEOM came out in April 2005 was on the day it was released |

It's also possible this performance was booked weeks ago when they thought the album was dropping May 6. They couldn't now change it since other artists are booked for the other dates. The pre-order should at least be up by then, though, so hopefully it helps those sales. |

I just thought of the perfect name for her album. 'Rollercoaster'. She loves them and maybe she had a toy when she was a kid. The name would definitely be fitting for her and her fans

You guys have to stop being Debbie Downers. It is coming even she isn't stupid enough to delay this album longer than May 31st. I have a feeling she will want to deliver the album before the concert series starts, so she can have people sing along to the new music. Mariah likes that audience participation. I have a feeling it is going to be new single (probably Hit-Boy song), #Beautiful and one classic in either WBT, VOL or ABMB (She will probably do either Shake It Off or Touch My Body). If I had to choose a set list, I would do one of the Hit-Boy songs off the new album, ABMB/Beautiful combo, WBT/Fly Like A Bird combo get that nostalgia flowing again. I think she will include #Beautiful in the set list as a it is a familiar song to people, and it is being included on the album, so the Today show hosts will have another talking point about the album in saying also on her new album #Beautiful.

she did #B last year on the same stage, it was the start of it's downfall. She's way too superstitious to try that again.
I say: One New Song, You're Mine Eternal , Make It Happen.
If the album isn't out yet then 3 old songs just to remind people who she is. And the promo will be wasted for the new album.
(I'm hoping it's out by May 6th-13th!!!)

I like that cover though it is very Mariah! Not digging the lighter hair because I think the pic would look better with darker hair, but all in all I love it!
