Well, regardless of the cheating thing, I think it's been obvious there have been issues between them for awhile now. Mariah shades him in nearly every interview, and it's clear he's gone a lot (she has publicly called him "the abandoner" several times). But, hey, maybe that works for them.

Mariah isn't stupid even if she did divorce him. She has an ironclad pre-nup especially after all the BS fall out she had to deal with concerning Tommy. Her divorce from Mottola was clean and simple... They split everything down the middle. Who knows if she has a prenup with Cannon. After all she married 6 weeks after meeting him and she was oh so in love back then. But I don't think this is true. It's all publicity for the album. |

I honestly feel like her calling him in out in interviews as being corny and over the top is a good sign rather than a sign of problems. I mean, now that I say this they'll probably get divorced tomorrow but, it just seems like if things really weren't going well she wouldn't make a point to address that since everyone has been rooting against them from the start and she probably wouldn't get any sympathy from a divorce.

There's no such thing as bad publicity! I doubt it's true, but any front cover she can land; accidental or not, is good... especially as she gets ready to launch the new album!

I don't like either cover or the title. Oh well, the song titles look intriguing. At least we will finally get to hear the remixes to Betcha Gon' Know and It's a Wrap. Mess though with including those and Art of Letting Go as bonus tracks for the Deluxe Edition. Oh well beggars can't be choosers.

crap that was supposed to be a quote of Kurt's post not me posting the video on my own. whatevs.
it's just so...well, it IS Mariah.
i feel like "Me. I Am Mariah" is an amazing title and the drawing is PERFECT. "The Elusive Chanteuse" is in keeping with the goofy-diva we've all come to love, so i like that too. something about smushing it all together is a bit much. it's like she had two different thematic ideas going on in her head for this era and gave up on choosing one. i'm going to pretend that the deluxe tracks and remixes are like their own little EP and split the titles up that way.

I was hoping she'd use a shot similar to that billboard cover, but it is what it is. I'm sad that I'm kind of ambivalent to all of this now after the unnecessary ups and downs they had us on with the 'surprises' and push backs.

The title is CRAZY and the cover is the usual Mariah pose but I LOVE the background and its actually a nice picture even if its heavily edited. The deluxe version cover got me at hello! The track names got me so excited! I dont know how am i even make it to that date. My pussy is crying out to be pounded by this album.

The album title is less annoying than the fucking covers. I mean not only do they look more digitally created out of thin air than the majority of Avatar. But the lame superimposing of her in front of these Windows XP wallpapers. It's just tasteless, crass and completely lacking in any kind of artistic vision.
