As others have noted, the Billboard cover shot would have been the perfect album cover.
And the title, at first glance, made me think of J. Lo's "This is Me...Then", which I'm sure is *not* what Mariah was going for.
I wonder how many stale tracks from 2012 we're going to get.

Oh Mariah....with this hysterical and childish title of her new album, it got me to remembering something. Years ago, my friends and I had a running email back and forth about mariah's album titles. We had noticed that every album seemed to have a title that appeared to be developed by a 12 year old girl:
-Music Box
-Daydream
-Rainbow
-Glitter
-Charm Bracelet
-Butterfly
So we had a running joke about what her next album title would be..this is a sample of titles that had us laughing:
-Wheeee!!!!!

JUST PRE-ORDERED THE DELUXE VERSION ON ITUNES!! I forgot how good TAOLG was. I am so excited to hear what 'Thirsty', 'Faded' and 'camouflage' sound like!

Yes, you can cancel preorders whenever you want. I'm not too sure how, but I know you can. Once you have canceled the preorder, simply preorder the one you do want. If the only reason you're cancelling your order is for the different cover, but you still want the tracks from the deluxe version, I would consider still buying the deluxe version and then just change the cover once the songs have been downloaded onto your computer. |

Plus I don't know why you guys are hating on the album title as though its the worst album title ever…bunch of drama queens! lets review some of the current album titles on billboard 200 and see if truly "Me. I AM Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse" is as bad as you all think.

After processing it, I really only hate the album covers. The title is decent for her. The album covers just make me think Mariah is basic. They just remind me of The Art of Letting Go, Triumphant and Charmbracelet. I like recycling, but not on that level. And, I am not about being reminded of a song, Triumphant, and an album, Charmbracelet, that I detested. I think her cover photo with Billboard fits the album title much more. However, the track listing has offset most of that distaste. I was hoping for a new song featuring R. Kelly, but at least we get to hear the It's a Wrap remix finally.
