I went to check him out on Twitter and he blocked me there too....the truths ive been spitting against JD this past year must have struck home, bitch bye. He didnt just block the cocomango account he IP blocked me ive come to learn, my two other dupes blocked too LOL as if that's gonna stop me/
He needs to be stopped.

The fact that Mariah doesn't have an issue is most worrisome. Granted, she has achieved so much in her career and doesn't have anything left to prove, but there's no excuse for how sloppy everything has been. Plus, everything in 2013 was looking up for Mariah- the good buzz "Almost Home" received and the performance of #"Beautiful" that reached out to more than just the hardcore fans. I think the fans are just disappointed that everything was in place last year, and JD and Mariah's decisions since have minimized the momentum that "#Beautiful" created.
It will be interesting to see what the album is like. "Triumphant," "Almost Home," "#Beautiful," "The Art of Letting Go," and "You're Mine" are all so different from each other.

JD needs to be stopped- from doing what? If Mimi doesn't have an issue with him, why should fans? Sometimes stopping is the best course of action but do I really need to tell you all the reasons why JD needs to be stopped, don't act brand new. I see you here every day so I'm sure you know all the issues with the album roll out, how she is being managed and the countless other issues. I think you're also aware of his shitty productions too? Maybe you missed that since you loved Triumphant? if you ever did love the song side of that. |

Seems mariah did a lot of interviews last night. She's been retweeting pics. Now I wonder about a second single, cause she's probably not filming any videos at her present weight.

Coco, dahhllinnnggg, I'm not questioning JD's managerial abilities or talents, or lack thereof- just why fans should get so worked up over him, when Mimi clearly isn't,. Tis all. :)
And, it is true, that I warmed to "Triumphant." But that doesn't mean I'm in awe of JD.

I don't know why people are lashing out at JD (I don't even like him). The album it seems is in the wrapping up stages and on its way to her label for scrutiny. He can't promote an unfinished product. He couldn't get her to do promotion because she was busy completing the album for her May 6th deadline. What is he going to have her do well there is this and this and this song I did, and then her record company decides they don't like this and this and this song that were made public knowledge, and they don't make the cut. That would look pretty bad. He can't discuss a potential next single because she is still working on the album, and one of the ones she is working on could be a potential next single.
This is all pretty much Mariah's fault. She delayed the album after her accident. I understand not working the first couple of months after the accident. She has had how long to get this album off the ground, and she is still working on it. That is ridiculous. When Mariah is a mess, everyone else around her tends to look like a mess because they are scrambling to try and fix her BS.

According to the Chart News twitter, The Emancipation of Mimi has sold almost 30,000 copies since October of last year when it passed the 6M mark. Niceeee, 30k since last October is not bad at all. Which reminds me, next year it will be 10 years since the release of Mimi. Time flies! Along with 20 years since the release of Daydream and 25 years since her debut in the industry! What an extraordinary career!

I'm frustrated with this release as everyone else is but hopefully, they have a second single ready to release ASAP. Or perhaps, Mariah could do something soon like releasing the album title, track listing, etc. to hype up the album release even more.

Once I get the album, I'm not buying any subsequent singles (unless there are remixes that I FLOVE and can only get on iTunes) so if they plan on dropping everything on May 6, I hope they know what they're doing.

If YM doesn't end up on the album, would the next release be the ?"first single"? They should just avoid making an extremely messy situation even messier and have it on the album. Although, note that the press release for YM said that it and the remix "set the stage for Mariah's new album coming May 6th on Island Def Jam / Universal Music Group." So, Island didn't say YM would necessarily appear on it.  |

She's done. Singles failed, album sales have been dismal since EOM... she just needs to know when to leave the party.

Her sales for each E=MC^2 sold 1.3m, Memoirs 500k and her Christmas album 500k. For someone her age and with one major hit from those albums, I would consider that a success. Her sales could have been a bit better for both had they chosen the right follow up single, but all things considered riding the coat tails of one single those are pretty good numbers. Why should she stop? Critics overall are enjoying her output of work, and Beautiful recently has shown us she still has the ability to churn out a decent hit. She just needs to execute better to fully realize her album potential. Out of the 3 albums she has released the only one I am disappointed with was E=MC^2 because the singles potential on that album was great, and she really missed the boat on that one to make the most of sales. Memoirs was a great album, but there really wasn't a song on there aside from Obsessed that was going to buoy sales. She took a huge risk creating a second Christmas album given the popularity of her first, and it paid off she got a gold Christmas album out of it. |
