I know it's Muni's song, but I really wanted a chorus where Mariah sings it alone in her chest voice. I was also really hoping they would do a recorded version of the ending Muni used in the great BET performance. Oh well, it's still nice, just could have been amazing.

AH was missing something though. I actually really like Mariah's vocals on the track. But the production was uninteresting and demo-sounding. If they had added some additional instruments like the "trumpets" mentioned in the song it would have been better.

The “Portrait” remix is the best song she’s put out since “Beautiful.” The production is sublime and she sounds wonderful. It reminds me of Black Coffee.

Wasn't there a version used in the film (or something) that was more orchestral? I remember preferring it.

I hope Rainbow 25 brings us a new song, or at least the full version of the "Rainbow Interlude."

And, yes, the "Portrait" remixes are excellent! They're reminiscent of the "CTTA" remixes in turning a ballad into a vibe (and a better song).

Loving the new vocals.
The extended version is amazing.
I originally thought at 16+minutes it was going to be boring, but I loved it!
