Interesting... Expect one of Mariah Carey's holiday albums, however, to be toward the front of the pack. Her just-released Magical Christmas Special shares a number of tracks with her Merry Christmas, including "All I Want for Christmas Is You." The TEA/SEA will be assigned to whichever album sells the most.Hits Daily Double |

Apparently, Mariah also said she found the Chick album version with her lead vocals. I looked at it when I clicked and saw just below a tweet she responded to from Clarissa. That is so cool that they still have a good relationship. |

Living for this chemistry between MC and Zane. I'm only halfway through, but this is really good.
Also, I'm so glad we still have stuff to look forward to after her Christmas domination with her having been in the studio and the continuation of MC30. She's been treating us so well that I wont know what to do when this ends.

Living for this chemistry between MC and Zane. I'm only halfway through, but this is really good. What a fantastic interview! The whole Chick album still blows my mind! Hearing her talk about it is so fascinating to me. 🤯🙌 I cannot wait to hear the album with her lead vocals one day! |

The PR campaign (if you want to call it that) that her people launched about 5 years ago to brand this holiday hers, and all the goodwill she's spread through IG and Twitter to her celebrity friends has really made the Christmas season promotion so wholesome. I feel she's done a remarkable job shedding that diva image and reciprocating the praise she receives from fans and other industry leaders. It's particularly warm during Christmas as they all support AIWFCIY.

Wow...her chemistry with that guy was fire. Very interesting interview. They really connected and he asked her stuff that made it seem he had really done his homework, you got the feeling he genuinely liked her / is a real fan. She mentions “Miss You Most,” LTT, the Chick album (we’re definitely getting it next year!! 😁), a song she’s mixing with Roc&Roe’s vocals from when they were six that she will put out, she talks about George Michael and so much more...
I really loved it.

I wish they would change her default photos from the 1 to Infinity era under her 'about' page on Spotify to literally anything else. She's done so many great photo shoots since not to mention the amazing Caution album art exists.  |

Random and definitely against the grain, but... I'm not really feeling the new arrangements of her classics on this soundtrack. I could've done without them. The JTTW intro is weird, especially after seeing her slay it in concert many times in the past 5 years.
"Sleigh Ride" is the only noteworthy addition to her holiday catalog. Glad she covered it and she made it fabulous!
"OS" with Ariana and Jen is cute, but the song has always been nice to me (just not a good single choice). This version with the new harmonies highlights it.

I loved this. I'm so glad she's getting so many more opportunities than she used to to actually discuss the artistic process rather than just answer vapid pop star interview questions. We as fans knew how intimately involved she is in the entire process of creating her music but it was something she didn't typically get the opportunity to discuss (at least not at length) in interviews. She looks absolutely gorgeous here too. Love the whole look. |

I've watched the special twice now, once with my Mother and again with my Sister and her fam. Everyone here summed it up pretty well. I will add that I think the length of it is absolutely perfect. It packs in so much and I'm certain it will keep the attention of even non-lambs. I hope this can have some replay value for people to celebrate for years to come. Random, but my Mom and I especially loved that the red phone was in the box hidden under the chocolates. I don't know why, but that is so us and our level of petty.  |
