Wasn't exclusively talking about the lambs here on Pulse (though yes, I absolutely have seen a few shading/criticizing here, even Jazzy took note of it a few pages ago). For the record (not saying you're implying otherwise but want to make it abundantly clear), I was referring to posts by a couple of people here not "the lambs" in general. Yeah, that is what I was referencing, not implying or referencing all lambs in general (which I wasn't trying to infer all lambs in general in either sentiment). |

 It just blows my mind that Mariah continues to compete along side these current and much younger artists. When all is said and done, I have a feeling AIWFCIY will become the biggest song of all-time. She truly created a masterpiece for the ages. |

Mariah is THE diva of our generation. The fact she still holds her own besides these contemporaries is absolutely mind blowing! No other diva is doing this - not Celine, not Madonna, not Christina, Beyonce isn’t even on that list. I think it’s almost indisputable at this point.

If Mariah really cared she could have discounted! She already got are #1 the rest is icing on the cake. Yeah as close as the race was, a discounted "AIWFCIY" would have likely made it #1. Having said that, "AIWFCIY" discounted might have meant Swift and her team selling "willow" with pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks so who knows? 😂🤔 I’m sure someone will do that eventually. |

Yeah, Team MIAMI TECH! I even use the songs that most people here hate.  The only song I DON'T really care for (and that's because it sounds like it belongs on Charmbracelet) is Money, but even that song is catchy and there are things I like about it. I agree it's one of her best albums overall, as a whole. |

Yeah, I prefer MIAM to TEOM, Memoirs, and Glitter from her 2000s albums. The run from "Cry." to "Camouflage" is pretty good as "Thirsty" and "Supernatural" are the only songs from that group I'm either "meh" on ("Supernatural") or don't like ("Thirsty," but I loved it for a hit minute). "Dedicated," "#Beautiful," "You Don't Know What To Do," "Make It Look Good," and "Meteorite" can stand with some of her best work.

I love Elusive.... loved where she went with Dedicated, Faded and Money; she gave us some fresh balladry with Cry and Camouflage; stepped a little out of her box with #Beautiful and Meteorite; Gave us a cover and a gospel number; got to work with her idol, Stevie Wonder. She covered so many bases and fanbases. I hate hate hate when artists feature their children in their music - I get it, they can do whatever they want - but I am not amused in the slightest. That being said, that home stretch of Supernatural is absolutely fantastic.

That being said, that home stretch of Supernatural is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely dizzying and unparalleled. Even hipster snobs Pitchfork cited it as a highlight. |

I use MIAM for a handful of tracks: Faded, Dedicated, Make It Look Good, #Beautiful, and You Don’t Know What To Do. This album doesn’t fully connect with me. The ballads are nice, but for me something is missing from them that make me want to listen to them regularly. I don’t like anything after Money.

I do hope Mariah's version of CBPCH continues to grow and become even more of a staple than it already is. The new version of "Oh Santa" is nice and improves on the original, but I don't think it will stick around the way CBPCH has.
t, I love your tracklist and love that "The Art of Letting Go" is making most of them. I'd add "Cry." to make it an even 10 tracks- I've always thought it was a great album-opener. That would probably have potential to be my favorite Mariah album.
