mARIAH!!! I cant wait for this Xmas concert omg!!1 She actually literally sounds GREAT. Her tone and power. I used to wince while watching her but sorry that is pure CONFIDENCE right now and I am hyped.

Mariah did the "Emotions" intro again and she sounded STELLAR: http://instagram.com/p/vV1-FmNm-- I know I sound like a broken record commenting on this, but... really it's astonishing the difference in the way she sounds now compared to the very start of the tour; then she could barely stay in her mid-register, and now she's belting high! OMFG everyone but MARIAH should shut the fuck up so i can hear that without any noise in the background. Her belts are so much on point and effortless lately She suffers from the typical Aries "syndrome" when folks say you can't do it, we aries say watch us do it again. Once in a while getting read for filth is a good thing, it makes a bitch angry :kii: I wish the trolls here could take the shade read truth i serve them instead of bitching back at me. If Mariah can handle it so can your bitch ass. |

Tomorrow is the final show of the tour, then we have the Christmas shows to look forward to and then her headlining the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival next January. If the tour doesn't resume in 2015, hopefully she releases a single off of a new album close to the summer.

Aaand with the Brisbane stop The Elusive Chanteuse Show is over. Mariah was in good voice, there were no changes in the setlist aside from the inclusion of "Make It Happen" (first time performed on this tour):
Mariah also said to the crowd that there's a very special surprise coming in the new year. She sounded really excited about it and, it seems, it is something big.

I think it's obvious she hasn't been happy with Def Jam for some time now, and I found it weird how she was promoting a rival label's product the other day (she tweeted a link to purchase Whitney's new live album). Maybe more tour dates? Maybe a TV project? She did mention in some interview this year that she was working on a music related show for TV. I don't think it's about a new album, because I doubt she would hype it up this way...
