This team is on point though! Yeah here is the thing though a good marketing team and staff in general would keep her on point, so there are as few delays as possible. Yes, Mariah is to blame for it as well, but if you are hired to do a job Mariah Carey or no, you better keep her on point. There is a big difference in getting out 1 new song versus getting out an entire album. Keep in mind that everyone raves about the job her team did with TEOM, but that project involved canceled singles and album delays, too. But this is all coming from a person with a musical ability and understanding, so it may go over the heads of those who are not as innately inclined. I didn't know Harry Connick, Jr posted here! :o |

Considering the melodic similarity of "Ours for all eternally/They'll be no end to our love story" from "Love Story" and "I was your eternally/There's an end to infinity" on "Infinity," it's hard not to think it was intentional since the language is very similar ("eternally" in the same place of the melody, and going from saying there is no end to saying there was an end). Plus, "Love Story" was sort of her song with Nick, even if it was written before they met.

Listening to DJKAYSLAYs radio show on XM radio and I don't know if you all remember but I asked Tiffany Foxx what her favorite Mariah song on instagram was to which she replied "all".
Anyway she's on this radio show and djlayslay asked her what's the number one r&b artist you respect and wish to record with and she said "right off the top of my head I gotta say mariah Carey...i love all her music so much"

I'm just heading home from a few days in Vegas and I gotta say her promo exploded here today leading up to her "arrival". At one point they were even playing The Wind in the casino !
They had 18 billboards on trucks being driven around, one representing each number one. All I could hear was Mariah playing along the Caesers part of the strip.

They had 18 billboards on trucks being driven around, one representing each number one. All I could hear was Mariah playing along the Caesers part of the strip. That sounds glorious. I was in Vegas like 2 weeks ago. If only it could have been a little later. :'( |

I listed some extra tickets I bought for the May 9th show online for a pretty decent price.
Both seats are individual... but, third row is listed on Stub Hub. Fourth row is listed on TickPick.com
I believe I have the lowest price listed for the section (Front Orchestra 2).
So, if you want to go then, this might be the cheapest you will find :)

From the press she did yesterday:
"I think giving your last album to a label that you're leaving is never a good idea because there's just not that incentive," she said, adding it's a new world for selling albums.
"If you don't go out there and promote it in the proper way and you don't have 100 per cent of the label behind you, it's not going to work. It's just the way it is."
Carey said she's getting ready to produce a new album, although she's not sure what it's going to be yet.
