Ugh, I'm Vision of Love. Edit: I like it but wouldn't rank it in my top 50 Mimi songs. @touch @antigonerising @jessielou what are your reactions to this? But I probably would have picked different songs for many of the signs. It's Friday and my car has finally given up the ghost on me and I don't have the money to do a damn thing about it, so like any typical Virgo who isn't good at coping with things I can't control, I'm going to do the only thing I can do: nitpick the hell out of something trivial and meaningless to everyone else but me. It is nice, but Mariah again talking about how hard it is for her to trust reminds me of the rumors that she would always be hounding Nick and his people about what he was doing. It was tough yet nice reading about her talking about the difficulty of the kids having their time with Nick. It was weird that she talks about working on "TMB" while being pregnant, though. Weren't those way apart? |

Not to mention people work out and do yoga while pregnant, all the time. I'm thinking with the pre-eclampsia, exercise was not a good idea for her. Moderate exercise is recommended for pregnant women, but there is a difference between regular and prenatal exercising (for example, prenatal yoga nixes "hot" yoga and certain positions that require a lot of twisting, and will use more props to make other positions more comfortable as you get bigger). Mariah said she was working out "a lot" so she was probably overexerting herself, as well as doing regular exercises instead of prenatal ones. Then combined with her condition naturally predisposing her to a more difficult pregnancy anyway, it just led to a sad and unfortunate result the first time. |

Well...she could mean, when she refers to "working on it" that she was promoting it. OR, there could have been some lies told about the timeline of marriage, sexytime, and pregnancy. Like...it seemed very out of nowhere and un-Mariahlike that she just up and got married right? I remember it seeming very odd and out of character, regardless of WHO it was she got married to. She had said she would never get married again, and would only have kids if she was married etc etc. Maybe she's letting slip in this interview that the order of things was different - she and Nick hooked up, she got pregnant, and they decided to get married right away. Then, after they were married, she miscarried. I'm totally making that up, of course. I think it's more likely my first theory, that she's just referring to that time period of her being very thin - her "Touch My Body" body. |

If you notice, in early 2008 when she shot the TMB video she had gotten incredibly thin which lasted for months (she usually gets thin for a video shoot and then packs on weight again after she's done with the shoot). Also, I think by TMB she meant the E=MC² era overall. She said they found out she was pregnant the night of the World Music Awards (ie November 2008). She was still in shape then, though not as skinny as in spring that year. Her miscarriage happened shortly afterwards, from what she said; one day before Christmas Eve, before they flew to Aspen, they went for a check-up and found out the pregnancy was unsuccessful. She dropped out of FCG because she had gotten pregnant with the twins. |

I don't think it's been said, but since the BMAs start at 8pm EST and her show doesn't start until 11pm 11:20pm EST, she could easily perform at the BMAs in the first hour or so and then go down the road to Caesar's and have 1-2 hours to prep for her show. |
