Her baby isn't due until December, so I Imagine mid-2015 at the earliest.

Wasn't her album basically done before she got pregnant?
She isn't someone who jumps on trends so I think if she wanted to, post-baby, she could probably get it out at the top of the year.

The album is practically done, but she's pregnant (the baby is due on December 31)...i think she's going to release the first single at the top of the year (i hope she performs at the Grammy), but she will probably release the album during the springtime (maybe in April...). In this episode, Alica Keys reflects on her career, growing up in the Hells Kitchen area of New York City, Flex dropping bombs on her single "Girlfriend" on HOT 97, musical influences, and so much more.

She has been very adorable on her social media accounts in recent weeks, I have to say.
I really do hope she brings it this time and put the actual single (the one that was selling) on the album, this time. I still don't understand why the solo version and remix could not be on the album, but I take it from an artist's perspective that tacking or having the same songs wouldn't feel right. I really want something in "...Know My Name" vein for the first single even though I know it wouldn't work in this market; however, I think it will make her stand out and also I think she is one of the few R&B artists who could probably get people out to buy her album. Anyway, I'm growing excitement for this album and hopefully, she has something incredible in store. No uplifting mess, she got that out with "We Are Here". Now it is time for her to show these R&B singers on why she is the best selling R&B artist from the last decade

Non bland songs like Girl On Fire. ![B-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/notamused.png)

Unfortunately...but the song sucks even without Nicki. (the Blue Light version is good tho) Have you heard the unreleased she has put on The Vault? "Is It Insane" is gorgeous. I like it more than everything but a few songs on her last album.

Alicia Keys will give a special performance at tomorrow's #MTVEMA! She's performing "We Are Here," isn't she? You gotta hand it to Alicia. She promotes hardcore, especially if it's something she believes in. I've always admired that about her. I remember how she used to perform "Girl On Fire" all over the place, until the song became a hit.

Taking place during a viewing party at the iconic O2 Academy Glasgow, the special performance will be beamed live into the nearby SSE Hydro and around the world as part of the EMA, which will broadcast on MTV Sunday November 9 at 9pm. Keys says: "I am crazy excited to perform on the global stage of the EMA, and for my song to be nominated for Best Song with a Message. ‘We Are Here’ is a 21st century peace movement that believes if we all stand together and join our voices we CAN create a kinder world for everyone." Alicia looked Beautiful at the MTV Europe Music Awards and just because she's due on New Years Eve doesn't mean the baby will actually be born on New Years Eve she'll probably deliver prematurely again like she did with their son Egypt in October 2010

Music superstar Alicia Keys tells Wendy about her new children's book, "Blue Moon" and opens up about motherhood, baby #2, her marriage to Swizz Beatz and how she makes her blended family work.

I see what she is doing. She is keeping herself in the limelight which is good. I just hope when she drops new music, it is really great because she has a lot of good press behind her right now.

My cousin wants a "Greatest Hits" of Alicia Keys for her birthday, so I was gonna make one for her. My problem though, is trying to narrow it down to fit a 80 min one disc. The #1 song requested by my cousin to be on it is "You Don't Know My Name," so I'll be keeping that 6:06 album edit. Any help on a tracklisting? I was considering including her new single "We Are Here" but I'm not sure if they'll be room, in addition to choosing the "Empire State of Mind (Broken Down)" version over the Jay-Z one to just keep the flow of R&B music (I'll be excluding "Gangsta Lovin" as well).

Jay-Z (it's iconic/classic...so i think it should be on the list)

^flawless tracklist. Nice to see someone show love to Unbreakable, I always feel that that is forgotten amongst her catalog.
