Infected Mushroom should be called again for another track or two for her new album. Oan Madeon as well.

Infected Mushroom should be called again for another track or two for her new album. Oan Madeon as well. I wish, but I'm thinking Infected Mushroom ain't happening again. :/ So should go HAM with Hot Since 82, Adrian Lux, Oliver Heldens, Lane 8, or Booka Shade if she wants really go dark.

Based on the not good things they said about her, I'm thinking that's a no.

"There's a problem. Lady Gaga wants your song." I don't like their attitude about pop music, though-- as if it's somehow cheap or lacks artistic integrity. Granted the translation seemed contradictory (potentially inaccurate or incomplete), so I'm not really sure what their real opinion is. One minute they're saying they were honored that someone of her stature saw potential, then the next they're acting like they're above it. Not that any of that changes the fact that she won't be working with them again lol, but it was just an odd read.

So she'll submit "Gypsy" for SOTY at the Grammy's but she wouldn't release it as the third single when it was the obvious and only right choice? Ugh, this woman sometimes. I love her, but goddamn is she bent on making wrong career choices. And I can't even start with that Dope submission.

She just listened to their instrumental song, liked it and wanted to tap some lyrics on it. It was more of sampling than an actual collaboration.

Well, no, they didn't technically work together in that regard. The article definitely implies that they never actually met-- although that happened with 'Work Bitch' lol. My point wasn't to emphasize their collaboration so much as their attitude, though.

I can't believe she didn't submit TEOG at all yet she submits the lesser clone to SOTY Unless she plans on releasing Gypsy as a single soon? When does the committee start voting?

There won't be another release from this album. As much as I love it, she wasn't happy through much of the process and the era was plagued with management issues before and after it's release as well as critics focusing more on her image than the music itself. It's definitely time to move on.
There's only one more month left of the artRave Tour, so the focus will be on Cheek To Cheek and recording her next album. I'm glad she's in a better place personally (Taylor's fine self) and professionally (successful world tour, jazz album & new management).

I LOLED in real life at those grammy submissions. Girl... She had to have submitted herself. I think her only shot at anything though is a Cheek to Cheek nomination somewhere.

Would be a good move to leak it sometime next year when having a quiet period... just for those youtube views
I don't think there has been such a high profile video that never saw the light of day

Maybe I'm saying this because I'm a huge fan but I'm re-listening to her singles, especially those from TFM, and can't help but feel how iconic they are. Some are instant Pop classics that will be remembered along the lines of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" as some of the greatest pop songs of all time!

Both "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" give that iconic feel. It's a shame Born This Way and ARTPOP weren't bigger because I feel a lot of the tracks on these albums could have been huge successes. "Applause" sounds a lot better in retrospect.

I HATED "Applause" on the first few listens, but it grew on me a TON! It's one of my favorite songs of 2013 now!!!
DWUW will remain the best thing to come off of that album though...

I listened to ARTPOP a few days ago in full and yeah, I think it has grown on me a bit more over time. I don't care for all of it but Applause, I believe, has gotten better for sure. Jewels And Drugs is still great and Fashion! is highly undervalued. It's pure filler but there's just something about the music that really hits me.

I still listen to "Do What You Want" like it's a new song. LOl. Something about that song just gets me going. I actually prefer the XTina version over the original now. (i'll admit I'm a decent sized Xtina fan though).

It's such a nothing song really, but it works brilliantly. It took me awhile to figure out how good it really was, and then I was like, what the heck was I missing all this time? #slay And as far as Applause goes, that's a modern pop classic as far as I'm concerned.

Applause accomplished the feat of teaching straight white people how to clap off the beat during a song. For that it deserves a monument.

I don't detect a damn thing wrong with ARTPOP. I got mad love for each and every track off the album. <3

"Fashion!" fell under my radar for months. It wasn't until a few weeks before the artRave began that I realized how cute that song is. It's one of my favorites now. :)
