Luckily I live in Scotty's home base. Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, etc The NC stations are already all over this song. Too bad we can't access the addboard anymore to see the exact amount of spins per station. There are other ways to see which stations are playing a song. You can check out the AllAccess "leaders" (7+ spins per week) report for the song below: www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/leaders/song/MCCRFI++/format/C146 spins at KWEN in Tulsa is by far the most for "Feelin' It". 21 spins at KEEY Minneapolis in the past 7 days, 20 at WQDR in Raleigh, 19 at WXBQ in Johnson City, 19 at WPAW in Greensboro. Also, if you're savvy enough with url addresses (and for this it's really not tough), you can find the leading stations for any given song, and also the new stations. You just have to change "leaders" to "starters" in the address above and that shows which stations have given first-time spins to FI in the past 7 days. And to change songs, the coding is between the word "song" and "format". In this case, MCCR (first 4 letters of the artist's last name) and FI (acronym for the song). This one gets two + signs after it because "Feelin' It" is only 2 words. For example, "See You Tonight" would've been MCCRSYT+. If I wanted to look up the numbers for Tim's new single, it would be MCGRMBAM (MCGR for McGraw, MBAM for Meanwhile Back At Mama's). You used to be able to access the AddBoard via AllAccess but it looks like you can't see that anymore either. Thanks! I'll have to try that. I did know about the leaders and starters, the rest I didn't. The addboard, you can see, but just not in real time on Mondays. It is available after Midnight Tuesdays. Just click the "Adds" tab and you can search "monitored" "Country" or "activator" "Country." It's not as cleanly laid out as addboard was but you can still most of the info addboard has. Unless there is something else that was on there that I wasn't aware of too that has been taken off.

Attachment DeletedGreat to see this banner tonight and that UMG is pushing so hard in this song's infancy on the chart! For those who don't check the "Country News" thread, Scotty and his friends were held at gunpoint early this morning by 3 armed robbers. I have all the details there. It's all over the online news and even some TV news tonight. Everyone came out alright but shaken up understandably. Scotty released a statement that is on the thread as well. It just goes to show no one ever knows what will happen from one moment to the next in their lives. One second laughing with friends, next moment a gun to the head. Life is precious!

this song came on in my iphone, any update on this regarding charts? my chart only goes to top 30 Still #42 Billboard, we'll get new number tomorrow. It was in the lower 50s on Mediabase earlier this week, with recurrents it should be #50 or #49 tonight when the chart updates. I believe also it was #45 on the Music Row chart this week. It should start chugging along at a quicker pace in the next week or 2.

Top 40 on Mediabase tonight! #40 Mediabase this week and #38 Billboard as of last week. When SYT was in the 50-40 range it was stuck there nearly 3 months. FI was only in that range several weeks. So this alone should knock 2 months off FI's climb vs SYT as long as it keeps growing, which it shows no signs of slowing down! I saw Scotty perform last night infront of a sell out crowd of 5000 in Selma, NC, near Raleigh. People flew in from 31 states and 4 countries for this show. Eric Paslay opened for him. What a great show! Scotty's performance was A+++ headlining. He has really become a force on stage. Here are some pics for anyone interested. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152132113136198.1073741848.593166197&type=1&l=eed166f7f8

Anyone think Scotty sounds NOTHING like himself on this one? This is not a bad song at all, and I like that Scotty is trying to forge a different sound than the Josh Turner-esque ultra-conservative whitebread good ol' boy he was on the first album, but this song is just such a departure for him. I honestly think he sounds more like Jake Owen on it.

If you listen to all the song on his album though, there's definitely a wide variety of styles on it, which I like. If you want something REALLY country, I would recommend Carolina Moon. Alison Krause makes an appearance on the song!

Scotty likes all varieties of Country. He grew up listening to the legends but he loves the modern day top hitmakers we got now too. He drew from all that with this album. This single is more along the lines of what radio wants to play now so that's what he gave them. I've heard Scotty say his favorite songs on his album are "Something More" and "Carolina Moon" which are both very traditional, and he'd love one day to record an album full of the old time sound. But he knows radio wouldn't play it now. Maybe if that sound gets more accepted again by the masses he will. When Scotty was recording this album his goal was radio success but he didn't want to compromise his principles and sing about getting drunk and having sex like so many other artists are. He wanted to stay middle of the road. This song is more of a fun "let's go to the beach" type of song. I liken it to "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" or even "No Shirt No Shoes No Problems." Scotty also has said that his first album was rushed and while the topics were stuff he believed, the sound wasn't what portrayed all that has influenced him. He said the SYT is all about who he truly is. So it's not like he doesn't sound like himself, he just wasn't properly introduced by his first album. This is Scotty. Personally I've talked with him several times and he's a chilled guy who loves to go to the beach, go muddin', fishing, golf, hunt, watch ESPN, and hanging out with his friends he grew up with. This song showcases that perfect and the video will too. His real life friends and girlfriend are his costars and it will be out very soon. Roman White shot the video at Cape Hatteras.
I just hope this song gets a move on, cause beach weather is over in 3 months. If this hasn't peaked by sometime in October it'll be time to move on to the next single. This has sat stagnant in the 38-42 position bouncing around the last 5 or 6 weeks. Of course all the songs around Scotty are in the same predicament other than the "A listers" and "new flavors of the month" that have passed easily into the top 40. Songs pass and songs go recurrent, so everyone around 35-45 seem to be playing musical chairs in any given week. The chart really needs a massive clearing and a couple weeks where no "big songs" get CC deals. The chart seems slower now than it has been in awhile for a lot of the artists. Getting more than 1 or 2 adds a week needs to happen soon too. In Billboard tonight it says that there is a new high power promoter that has been hired for Scotty and Gary Allen. Maybe he'll help in some way.

4th most added today on MB and 16 adds including the Cumulus block. This looks to be firmly planted into the 30s now with a stronger bullet. After 3 months the ground stop is over and this looks to be taking off. Video will be out very soon from what I've been told by someone in the McCreery camp.
Wow! 2nd most added on BB with 19 adds!!!

Awesome video! His best yet! Roman White did a great job with it! Here it is to watch with a click. And a little trivia. The girl with him is his real life girlfriend. She also was with him in "The Trouble With Girls" video. They've known each other since their Church nursery days. The other people with him are his real life friends too he grew up with.

I really love the video. It totally captures the fun summery vibe of the song, and the outer banks of NC were a great place to film it.
I wish "Feelin' It" was higher up on the chart by now, and I'm surprised that it was basically just treading water for so many weeks. It's a hit that I expected to become one of the 'songs of the summer', and it seems like the callout scores for this are pretty high. Maybe it'll slowly climb up the chart like "See You Tonight" did, but the summer clock is ticking away. I'm definitely enjoying "Feelin' It" though – it's just such a great feel-good song!

Oh wow, TOC could use a fact checker... 1) John Michael Montgomery isn't in Montgomery Gentry, his brother Eddie is. Troy Gentry is the other guy in the group. Hence the name is Montgomery Gentrey, not Montgomery Montgomery. John has always been solo. 2) Scotty covered John Michael's "Letters from Home." 3) Scotty did cover "Gone" by Montgomery Gentry but John Michael wouldn't had referred to that as "my song" since his brother recorded it! Eddie seemed to brush Scotty off in the video but John was really interesting in talking to him, then John pulled Eddie back in. Here is a TOC article about his video. At least they got the filming location right! Gotta start somewhere! tasteofcountry.com/scotty-mccreery-feelin-it-video-behind-the-scenes/

I was at this show and helped my friends kids (one of whom is 10 and his #1 star is Scotty) meet Scotty. John Michael sounded awful. His voice is shot.

Love the music vid but how come Scotty never goes shirtless? Because he knows a sizable segment of his fanbase would get the vapors! No, really, it doesn't seem to be Scotty's style to be that blatant about playing up his sex appeal. Singing "Your Man" seems about as racy as it's ever gotten from him.

As of today it is #35 on Mediabase as well. There is a very possible chance he will jump the 2 songs above him tonight (the AI, spins, and points are neck in neck to Scotty's advantage) and with the 1 recurrent ahead of him that'd be #32 for the week. "Rum" could overtake Scotty though as the 2 songs points should be a microscopic difference and he'd be #33. Billboard will be around the same next week too, 32 or 33. Now of course when Garth and Aldean's songs come out, everyone will be knocked back 2 spaces but I believe there are 2 or 3 Mediabase recurrents next week to even it out.
edit...he'll be #34 this week on MB. His AI and spins are ahead of the 2 songs infront of him. The points just didn't keep up enough for him to jump those songs. I hate the points system so much. I'm a BB person all the way. AI only, plain and simple. No mystery Calculus.

Love the music vid but how come Scotty never goes shirtless? He probably doesn't go shirtless because he doesn't have much of a physique. I know he might be handsome, but he looks like he's never picked up a weight in his life. Pretty much the same thing for Luke Bryan.

At the risk of sounding defensive I wanna say scotty has lost a lot of weight. I'm not saying he has a good body but compare to him llate last year (where even I thought he was looking rough) he's slimmed down considerably. But I do agree he's not picking up any weights (I'm seeing weight loss but not toning or definition) but he's trying I suppose. Also agree with your luke Bryan statement. That picture of his legs when he fell off the stage and needed stitches showed some serious chicken legs. Kudos to scotty on feelin it moving up the charts but I am worry it might not peak before the season is over

They just want to position their artist to look the most sexy they can. I didn't know Scotty lost a lot of weight though, I just always thought he was on the skinny side.

Scotty is actually on the very Religious-conservative side. He does not believe in showing skin for sex appeal and he refuses to kiss or show affection to someone he doesn't know in his videos. That's why he casts his girlfriend (who is hot as a star herself) in his videos TTWG and the new one for this song.
He has been on a small diet. He gave up sugar drinks and only drinks lemon water. He was talking about this on Twitter recently.
Now if we want to talk about someone who probably is really scrawny and may be embarrassed to take of his shirt, it's Hunter Hayes. Just an observation.
Anyway I'm happy the way this single is going. It's about 3 months ahead of where STY was in it's journey last year. It could very well be Top 30 next week, if not, for sure 2 weeks.
