^ ^ You can write that about any song that becomes popular. All popular songs eventually become overplayed and people become sick of them. I remember when people complained about constantly hearing Adele on the radio or last year hearing Blurred Lines & Mirrors.

Some songs have higher burn rate than others. The music industry spends a lot of money testing those rates.
