The Biebs is staying put --- too bad --- LOL
Not this time! The White House officially responded to a petition that asked for Justin Bieber's deportation on Friday, April 18, ultimately siding with the 20-year-old entertainer.
"Sorry to disappoint, but we won't be commenting on this one," the statement read. "We'll leave it to others to comment on Mr. Bieber's case, but we’re glad you care about immigration issues. Because our current system is broken. Too many employers game the system by hiring undocumented workers, and 11 million people are living in the shadows."
"Not only is it the right thing to do morally, it's the right thing for our country: Independent economists say immigration reform will grow our economy and shrink our deficits by almost $1 trillion in the next 20 years," the statement continued. "For those of you counting at home, that’s 12.5 billion concert tickets -- or 100 billion copies of Mr. Bieber's debut album."
Back in January, a "Deport Justin Bieber and Revoke his Green Card" petition received over 100,000 signatures asking that the Canadian native leave the U.S. The petition was created shortly after the "Boyfriend" singer was arrested for DUI in Miami on Jan. 23.
"We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture," the petition read. "We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked."
It continued: "He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."
The petition has clearly not fazed the singer over the past several months. He's been back in he studio since, and was spotted getting cozy with on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez at Coachella in Indio, Calif., on April 13. "Justin took the lead and was escorting Selena through the all-access area," an eyewitness told Us. That same day, he surprised the crowd by performing on stage with Chance The Rapper.

The Demi airplay Hot 100 peak disparity led me to wonder what's the biggest difference between a Hot 100 airplay top 10 and its Hot 100 peak? I recall an Amy Grant single making top 10 on airplay and peaking at #72 on sales. I think it was Every Heartbeat. But EH went to #2 on the hot 100 so maybe that's not right

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Dark Horse overtook Happy in the recurrent 50--60M range and then lasting throughout the rest of the year.

Up to top 10 in sales and airplay...I think Not A Bad Thing has a good chance of hitting to the top ten on the Hot 100 this week!

^ Not to mention, Not a Bad Thing is the only song even close to the top that's increasing significantly. Even All of Me looks like its stalling out now.

Wait is Birthday not officially released to radio until tomorrow? Like are these updates just requests and demand. I remember someone saying the adds date was the 21st.

Regarding airplay disparities, I think Ellie Goukding's Burn may be the only song to reach airplay top 5 without making the hot 100 top ten (excluding airplay-only songs that did not have a single for sale).
Although I'd be happy to be proven wrong. :)

Wait is Birthday not officially released to radio until tomorrow? Like are these updates just requests and demand. I remember someone saying the adds date was the 21st. Adds dates are arbitrary when it comes to big named artists. Radio is able to play any song they want at any time. Adds dates are there just to remind PDs that the song is officially available as a single, it's the one they're going to focus on, this is the date we think you should start playing it. For artists like Katy Perry, once word comes out on what the next single is going to be, radio is going to hop on it whether or not it has an adds date yet. Of course, sending the song out to radio officially through e-mail or even on CD is the best way to get stations to notice it's available. The adds date is the secondary reminder.

All of me is definitely falling in sales (for a few weeks now I think) and it looks to be almost at its peak radio audience (it might stretch out a few more million before it starts to fall...starting to have my doubts about it reaching #1 on the Hot 100 :( btw it's interesting how AOM is the only song on the Wikipedia article for Hot 100 Radio Songs under the "highest radio audience peaks" to not have reached #1 on radio songs (yet)!

Ed is benefitting from the lack of major releases at this time.
His label is working hard for him though.

The charts in general are so stale right now.
Rihanna, Nicki need to hurry up and release something. Bey needs to send Blow out as her next single.

AOM could end up like WMU with Royals where both top two songs on radio are so far ahead of all the other increasing songs that despite both AOM and Happy decreasing, AOM will be decreasing less significantly and end up overtaking Happy for #1 on radio while falling in audience...

Does anyone know where I can find the full archives for Digital songs, Radio songs, and the sales of songs before Digital Songs on Billboard because it's just showing the top 10 when I look up the Billboard.com archives...

Is Imagine Dragons going to be the first act with two songs on the chart for over a year at once? Demons will hit a year this week.
